I so agree with this, and how Rita is playing Roxy at the moment, even today in the episode - her just being there

I also feel the family-ness feeling with them, when i see them with Amy as well, even Tommy, i always go back to that live olympics torch bit when they come out of the pub, it was like a family coming out of the pub - Alfie/Roxy/Amy/Tommy.....

I really liked Roxy being there around for Alfie...... she didnt have to say much, but to show Alfie some affection and gentleness and standing up for him, even against Derek is something to note.....

I think at this point Alfie needs someone like Roxy just to hold him and heal him.... and listen to him about his feelings and his side of the situation, she doesnt have to say anything but just be there and gentle with him, Alfie is someone who gives out alot of affectionate and its nice to see him receive some, its give and take with Alfie and Roxy..... whilst its always give give give with Alfie/Kat and Kat just taking

Couldn't agree more, especially the example you gave of the Olympics episode - that small snippet just confirmed to me that these two could have longevity as a couple. I just hate knowing it won't be long before the producers plan a Kat/Alfie reunion.

I love how Alfie/Roxy have come full circle already - Alfie comforting Roxy after the Max business and Roxy being a shoulder to cry on for Alfie last night. It's not a passionate, feisty relationship - it's a tender, sensitive one which is why I'm really rooting for them.

I like how you have said its come full circle with them, i also like to go back to the time when Alfie was helping Roxy raise money for Ronnie's wedding, and she told Alfie why it was so important for her and what had happened to Ronnie coz of their father....

Alfie and Roxy have always helped each other out, remember the time she paid his rent so Phil would back off of Alfie and so on... and then Alfie helping Roxy with shifting gear and raising money for the wedding

Its a very give and take relationship - as you i can also see a longivity couple in them

I think thats one the things Alfie needs that tenderness and sensitivity and affectionate, coz he is an affectionate guy and we know Kat doesnt give much of that, we know why but still taking advantage of Alfie is not nice..... and i also like ot point out how Roxy said what we all felt, about how Kat speaks to Alfie at times.... its not nice....... Roxy picked up on things, esp the way Kat treats him.

I also cant help but fear that they will somehow get Alfie-Kat reunion again, and i dont want Roxy to get hurt, she does NOT deserve that

I love how Roxy is being..... she is just being there, around helping whenever she can and also got Jean along to calm her down lol

I think Roxy was right in not saying anything to Kat, coz silence sometimes speaks more then words, and Kat deserves the words she gets from anyone esop Roxy seeing as Roxy has been close to Alfie and seen how he has been and so on...

Such family feeling i get when i see them with Amy, and also the way they handle the vic together

I am not sure if Alfie realises what he is saying to Roxy, he sure as hell is saying Roxy you can make move, judging the comments he said and so on

It makes me sick they are trying to push Kat to be the victim, its not like Derek had a gun to her head or raped her. Poor Roxy "Do not make me second best" I do not want him to break her heart.

I just hope the audience do not side with Kat as I know this is exactly what the producers want. This storyline could either make or break Roxy, I'm thinking. I'd love to be proven wrong but she'll be the second Mitchell sister (my absolute favourite characters!) sacrificed for Kat & Alfie.

I do see Alfie leaning on Roxy as a rebound esp if he is starting something so soon with her...... as Roxy said dont make her second best, if Alfie needs to take his time be it, but dont go into a relationship with Roxy just to make her second best and moving on this way......

But this moving on quickly certainly tells us, that Alfie and Kat maybe one day will be back together

No way is Kat a victim, before Derek, she did have one night stand...... she knew what she was getting into whilst going around and having trips to the flat.... she ignored Alfie half of the time she was with him etc
