I keep hearing this song at work. I have heard it before as the tune was familiar, but can never hear the words when it plays clear enough to work out what they actually are so I can identify it and listen to it properly. I've asked the people I work with and they either can't identify it or can't hear it at all so I'm at a bit of a loose end.

The only clue I have to finding out what it is is that as soon as I heard it I thought it sounded like the music that the Dancing Priest in Father Ted listens to, now that I hear it again it's not the same song but does sound very similar.

Here is the Dancing Priest video, so does anyone here know of any well known old songs with a chorus that they think sounds similar to the one in the video?

Sounds a little like 'Walk of Life' by Dire Straits.

It does sound like a mixture of Red River Rock and Walk Of Life, but according to the comments under the video it's Beatnik Fly by Johnny and The Hurricanes - http://youtu.be/ZdMSu8qW8B8 (and according to the comment under that video, it's the same song!)
