So, 21 fell out of the UK top ten for the first time since it's release: #12

According to HDD, 21 will be back on top of US charts with sales between 73-78k.

And, according to UKMix, there's rumors Adele & Leona Lewis will open the Olympics!!!
It had to happen but 72 weeks in the top 10 is really good going.

Pleased she might get another week at number 1 in US

Those numbers are awesome!
Can anyone confirm that until 21, the longest stretch at number 1 on MT was 10 weeks? I'm pretty sure that's the stat I've got down. Lol. She has 41 weeks. It could possibly be broken in the future, but that is an amazing record.
Dido's Life For Rent & Evanescence's Fallen both tied with 10 weeks at #1, until 21 came along.

ADELE is and always has been capitalised on record company output, including albums and singles. I guess it's just a way of making the name stand out from the crowd?

Yes now confirmed on the Billboard website. That makes a 24th week at No.1.

Is she back in the UK top 10 or is the slip continuing. Stay tuned I'm sure Casualty will find out!!

If she gets 1 more week #1 in the US (so 25 weeks) it will be the most since 1978.. and the 6th most ever.

Diamond certification cant be that far away now.

Ended up selling just over 60k for 3rd position. So 600k off diamond status.
