I am absolutely loving Jorgie on Dancing On Ice. Each year I watch Dancing On Ice and I have always supported Matt Evers. I was over the moon when Jorgie and Matt was put together. Firstly because I have always supported Matt and Jorgie is from Hollyoaks, which I watch everyday. Each week both Jorgie and Matt come onto the ice looking gorgegous and suprises us. Like Matt Evers said 'Jorgie keeps getting better and better each week'- Which she does. For me Jorgie is such an inspiration and someone to look up too. Matt's injury during last week, didn't effect their performance one bit last night. They still came out fighting and landed themselves at the top of the leader board. For me Jorgie is the best and since the start shes been my winner. #PORTERsupPORTER

Jorgie is great but wasn't so good in skills week, where her step sequence got out of synch with Matt.

Matt Evers is a great skater and one of the pros most contestants hope to land in draw.

Jorgie very good skater, but not the best, Chemmy is better. Good positioning with the tricks and lifts but not the best not a patch on Jen. Does second best skater, second best peformer make her best overall female. imo yes.

I might like her more when she manages to say a whole sentence without losing her breath. That and the way she always holds her mouth as if she's sucking through a polo mint really puts me off.

Matt is the best one left

Jorgie's routine in skills week was far faster making it very difficult for her to skate a clean programme. The step routine was really difficult to do well because of the speed of the music. For me jorgie and Matt's routines flow seamlessly while the other routines look like a series of moves one after the other. There is also a great chemistry between Jorgie and Matt so for me that makes the story so believable. It is dancing on ice and the partners have to really connect not just skate together as you do in pairs skating. For that reason it is Jorgie and Matt's routines I look forward to and their routines I remember.

They were given a difficult routine and Jorgie executed it poorly. No marks should be given for trying.

Matt E has everything needed to show off his partner. His physique makes him ideal to lift the light and petite above his head and even the less able take confidence from his belief in them. Don't underestimate the contribution Matt makes to the so called 'seamless' routines. imo with a lesser pro Jorgie would be no more than a breathless also ran.

In her best routines, Jorgie has a special quality to which Matt certainly makes a contribution. He knows she is his best partner since Suzanne, and is taking the opportunity to help her to shine.

I personally dont think they are that amazing, I find them a bit boring to be honset, DOI was always meant to be about watching someone start basic and gradually improve during the show, whats the point in having a couple of run away favourites that the public get brainwashed into voting for when there are other skaters who have started weak but have gradually increased their skills and scores each week, to me that is what the show is about.

I can kind of see your point, although I get immense pleasure from watching great skaters every week. Even the ones who start off at a high standard can improve, too.

That said I'm a bit torn on Jorgie... something is putting me off really liking her and I'm not quite sure what. At the start she was my favourite of the girls this year, but I think Chemmy has overtaken her now for me personally.

I agree .... I think that Chemmy is the best basic skater of the girls but that Jorgie and Matt are the best partnership of the females celebs physically

Sean's a big strong chap and the best pro for Chemmy to have but realistically he's not going to be able to lift and throw her around like he can do with Jodene or a celeb with a slighter build

For me Jen and Dan are mismatched as I feel she's too tall for him and find it makes a lot of their lifts and tricks look ungainly and awkward and sort of all "legs" ...

Going on height and build I would have paired Jen with Matt and Jorgie with Dan

I agree about having some good skaters in from the start ... obviously it would be better to have them all start off on an even footing and see improvement but it's better TV to have a couple of one's who are decent from the start

I feel the same about Jorgie .... Matt's my favourite pro and I was impressed with Jorgie the first couple of weeks but she's starting to irritate me and I find her skating a bit sloppy and frantic when it's not to a balad

Glad it's not just me then! I still like Jorgie's skating, just not sure about her.

I admit Matt is fantastic. Being a pairs skater he is strong , he very supportive to his partners and has been in every series of DOI which makes him very experienced However Jorgie must get some credit for their seamless performances. Matt has had many partners so just because you skate with him does not guarantee a seamless performance. Even Suzanne Shaw who won DOI and who became a lovely skater did not manage to produce as seamless performance as Jorgie and Matt. Suzanne and Matt skated well together, got on well together off the ice but they did not have for me the connection that Jorgie and Matt have on the ice which draws you in to the story. I agree Jorgie does not seem to produce the quality of skating she is capable of in fast numbers and which you sometimes see glimpses of in training. She is tiny so I do not think she could produce the power that Chemmy can. Being tiny does make it easy for Matt to lift her but she has to have the ability to come in and out of lifts gracefully. Matt does not do it all.

Matt E is my favourite pro skater, but Jorgie lost something with me this week. Yes, because of Matt's injury. I hope she takes much more care in future! I think Chloe and Michael did the same move last year with no problems.

I know I will get slated for this but I just sometimes feel Jorgie is too blase with regards to the danger element and that is a bad thing.

It's good to want to tackle new moves and all the tricks etc but she just seems a bit too non plussed as to the risks she was too calm with the headbanger and whilst it may have been a bit of shock on her part too she seemed far too calm after Matts accident.

I just worry that this I'm not fussed attitude is what ups the risks a bit if you aren't worrying a bit then you maybe aren't taking as much care as you should be.

I'm not a fan of her overall performances like others I just can't put my finger on exactly why I can't take to her. I know she has been one of the better performers this year although for performance Jennifer does have the edge for me. I think Jorgies routines are well staged to try and hide weaknesses like this week with the dry ice covering much of the footwork I know again shes not responsible for the staging but it does seem strange that after being told off by Robin for cheating in her steps that she had all the dry ice covering much of the footwork.

But Jorgie & Matt's routine had more packed into it which may explain why the accident happened.

The accident happened because Jorgie just didnt care, Matt had just told her to be more careful as she had already just missed him and then this happened.

Seem to remember loads of skaters doing the same move over the years and dont ever remember any of them doing this as they all took care and listened to what they were being told, Jorgie is a liability as she is too fearless which is very risky when you have blades attached to your feet.

whatever the content of the programme that has nothing to do with the way Jorgie executed the entry to the neck spin ... like I've said previously, I find Jorgie an enthusiastic but somewhat "sloppy" uncontrolled skater and if you compare the way both Chloe and Jorgie positioned their legs for the neck spin, Chloe was a lot more controlled and careful in her placement . Jorgie's legs are all over the place and not very controlled ...last year both Chloe and Laura did some difficult tricks and lifts but both of them seemed to have a bit more control and sense of how important it is to listen to their partners and get the placement correct and they were both stronger and more "stable" in their solo skating .. I also think that Chemmy is a stronger more controlled basic skater than Jorgie but she's a heavier build so can't be lifted or thrown around as easily.

I think Jorgie is a decent little skater but she needs to be less frenzied and take a bit more care in the lifts/tricks etc rather than being so gung ho

He hadn't just told her at all. The VT went from a shot of them at the training rink during the week, to rehearshing on set the night before the show.

Just because Jorgie didn't go to pieces and demand the move be taken out, it is far-fetched to conclude she didn't care whether Matt got swiped again. Her tentativeness getting into the move on the live show, proves she very much did care. As did her reaction when she made contact with Matt's face - if you have forgotten, she quite audibly gasps and brings her hand to her mouth in a typically shocked reaction.

OT - for someone who appears quite ditzy when not performing, Jorgie does intensity with conviction. Definitely one of the top performers DoI has ever had, imo.
