It does. To say it came about in around a month in the studio, it's quite good. All he needs for album #2 is punchier material.

I LOVE the album sampler idea. I wish every album had that kind of video where you could listen to say 45 seconds of each track. I would probably buy more albums if they did that for all of them,

If you've got iTunes listen to the previews on there, they are 1min 30secs long. I was worried about this album but it's sounding really good.

They're very friendly songs, you'd get a lot of playable value out of this.

I think he's destined for a top 10 with SNA and the album is going to be easily in the top 5 for three/four weeks I reckon.

Has anyone listened to the whole album yet? What do you think?
I got it today and after the first play my favourite tracks are: Love & Hate, Mercy, Feel Like I Feel and Higher and Higher. Considering how quickly it was put together, I think it's a great album, with some really good tracks.

After one listen, I think it's okay. His voice is terrific but the majority of songs are just meh.

Hopefully it will grow on me.

I can't get enough of him singing Higher and Higher! Loved his version from the XF, and love the album version!

To be fair, some X Factor contestants have made good albums. This, however, is not one of them.


Number 7, but 100 copies behind Lana Del Rey at #6. Normally I'd say he was front loaded and will fall by the Sunday chart but I'm not sure about the Mother's Day effect this week. He's unlikely to break the top 5 though.
