Please could someone advise me on where I may be able to view a full list of films which have been shown on BBC iPlayer? I am looking for one in particular and this is the only way I can think of tracking it down.

there won't be many. Iplayer is generally used as a temporary catchup service, unlike say 4od, which is more of a repository.

Have you tried findanyfilm.com? Or cut to the chase and lets us know which particular film it is. Unless it's something embarrassing

I actually remember very little about the plot, but I'm sure I'd recognise the title.

You'll only ever see what's currently available as that's how BBCiPlayer works.
Most of the time you'll only ever see the last 7 days, but some films never appear in iPlayer due to license issues.

It seemed like a relatively low budget US film, set in the present day in a large city. It follows a young man (20-30 years of age approx) who has recently broken up with his girlfriend. He meets a woman who helps him get over this. The protagonist is often temped to leave a message to his ex about how bad everything is going for him. (E-mail or answering machine, I don't remember.) Eventually he does leave a message but with a very positive spin.

He might be a writer. The girl might have some kind of mental health issues.
