What do you mean she stuck her finger up at the brits after being interrupted during a speech when she was saying how proud of being British she was and how proud she was to fly the flag to me that shows a level of humility rather than the usual tosh of tears and thanking God as is usual at awards speech or is it akin to the fact she speaks in a London accent.

For an artist in the spotlight her behaviour is shocking, i know your a massive fan of hers but no amount of pretending her behavious is ok will change the facts that everyone can see. Success can do many things to an artist, its clear she is struggling with it, but surely her management e.t.c really are the problem as they appear to let her continue to do it unchecked.
All she is doing is going down the road to oblivion that will see her get the same reputation as many of the other tin pot chart pop artists.

Thing is Gl i'm a massive fan of 19 and not 21 i think 19 was personally robbed but am just happy of her success because she worked hard and is normal.

The way i gauge her behaviour is she is never photographed drunk falling from Clubs she is rarely interviewed is not into hard drugs and only smokes which i do too doesn't make me a bad person nor does it her.

Just because she isn't polished or refined and says what she thinks and acts like any normal 23 year old is that somewhat detrimental to her would you rather she acted all respectable and false just because she is famous would you change who you were your accent your personality because you happened to be famous the fact she is who she is is part of her appeal she isn't middle class false or anything other than Adele hence why so many like her.some people won't but thats fine too but to attack her as though she is some horrendous being corrupting our youth and giving us Brits a bad name is unfair and based on pure dislike and borderline contempt for her.

There are far worse people out there she is tame compared to the likes of Rihanna.

Well if the adele we are seeing now is the real person and its not some disorder caused by her not being able to handle her success then we may as well lump her alongside the chart pop pap now. I just dont have any time for artsits that act the way she had done in public lately, and i bet I am not alone either.
And its not just a one off, her bad behaviour has happened many times now in a short space of time and thats whats got me about it, we can all forgive a one off but its clear its not.

GL, I may be mistaken but I'm sure I've seen you mention in other threads that you think What's the Story Morning Glory is one of the greatest British albums or at least that you were a fan. You must feel oh so terribly conflicted when listening to Oasis considering Liam Gallagher behaved like a neanderthal throughout the 90s and makes Adele look like a nun in comparison. At least be consistent in your criticism.

By the way, when I buy an album I buy it because I want to listen to the music and not because I like an artist's personality.

Liam Gallagher is not a solo artist, he sings in a group, i love oasis but didn't like liam gallagher at all. oasis were at their best when liam threw a stroop and Noel had to sing all the songs. Being a Chav when your a solo artist is a lot worse then when your a member of a group as all eyes are on you and you alone. IMO Liam Gallagher and Adele are totally cut from the same cloth
