Liam Gallagher is not a solo artist, he sings in a group, i love oasis but didn't like liam gallagher at all. oasis were at their best when liam threw a stroop and Noel had to sing all the songs. Being a Chav when your a solo artist is a lot worse then when your a member of a group as all eyes are on you and you alone. IMO Liam Gallagher and Adele are totally cut from the same cloth
Have you ever liked songs by Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Ray Charles, Michael Jackson, George Michael, Madonna? None of the above were/are exactly paragons of good behavior yet are revered for their music. I think it's admirable that Taylor Swift chooses to conduct herself the way she does but the rock music movement in the '50s was a rebellion against those very qualities that you extol. If all artists behaved like Swift we'd still be listening to Tin Pan Alley music. Swift's personality works for her and for her fan base, but to hold up the behaviour of other artists against her's is ludicrous. |

You really know so little about taylor.:yawn::yawn:
Taylor said she’s been more open to collaborating on this record. “I’m getting to work with people I’ve always wanted to work with,” she said. “I’m constantly around people who love what they do. I’m trying to be a sponge with this record. You have to evolve.” It seems you no little about your fav also. Wow. So she's not a real musician anymore right GL? Does this mean you won't be listening anymore? That would knock her fan base over 40 years old down by half. |

I have both albums and I am honoured to support such a beautiful young lady with a beautiful voice. She is British and we should cherish her, she is ruling the world, we should be shouting her name from the rooftops. Long may she reign.

Taylor has written around 30 new songs on her own for her new album, and as her CEO said they are genius. ![]() Dont forget to read the songwriting credits when you buy her new album in October.

Taylor has written around 30 new songs on her own for her new album, and as her CEO said they are genius. ![]() Dont forget to read the songwriting credits when you buy her new album in October. ![]() ![]() Much has been made of the talents of this generation’s teen idols. Bieber sings, dances, plays guitar and drums; Taylor Swift and the Jonas Brothers write their own songs. But the emotional and artistic range of their pop mirrors their audience — simple stuff for those in double digits, even simpler stuff for those younger than 10. Kiddie stuff is a ticking time bomb of obsolescence. ...needs to look beyond the Disney/Nickelodeon stable. Prince celebrated his 18th birthday with a record contract that gave him complete artistic control. Before he was 20, Bob Dylan had written “Blowin’ in the Wind,” “A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall” and “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right.” Before he was a man, a teenage Steve Winwood was singing his tune “I’m a Man” with the Spencer Davis Group. Adele wrote her debut “19” when she was, well, 19. They need to look to these artists. The Jonas Brothers are finished. Miley Cyrus is struggling (although her Dylan cover of “You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go,” released last month, is killer). Swift, at 22, thinks her tell-off song “Mean” is mature and clever. She should know better. None of these young adults has figured out how to grow artistically. Maybe because they naively think 11-year-olds are forever faithful. They aren’t. They will all grow into Adele, Lady Gaga or Black Keys fans. I figured she was trying to find writers to get past "Why you gotta be so mean." |

Well he certainly has not called her songwriting genius before, of course he could have said nothing but what he heard was worthy of a statement, a few have heard her new songs and have said simular things. She had got tons of writing experience now, her songwriting is just gonna get better and better, roll on October.

Cause if not, right away it's gonna be a major improvement over her current material. Yes he's vanilla as far as rappers go, with a tween mom stamp of approval, but B.O.B. is a good musician. So this can only be good for TS. Maybe there will finally be a song we both like featuring her.

Oxford Dictionary:
genius |ˈjēnyəs| noun ( pl. geniuses ) 1 exceptional intellectual or creative power or other natural ability: she was a teacher of genius | Gardner had a real genius for tapping wealth. 2 a person who is exceptionally intelligent or creative, either generally or in some particular respect: one of the great musical geniuses of the 20th century. Examples of musical geniuses: Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Brahms, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Arthur Rubenstein, Jacqueline DuPre, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, and Taylor Swift. There's something not quite right about the above sentence. |

Since this thread has gone completely off topic, I'll ask.
Anyone else completely sick of every Adele thread turning into a Taylor flipping Swift thread? |

Her writing style wont change one bit, its all about her life and thats what her fans want, for her to change would mean her writing to date would have been living a lie. She has a unique style that identifies her and makes her stand out, why would she change a successful formula.
Again We were both young when i first saw you. to Under haunted skies i see where love is lost your Ghost is found. As we grow so do our experiences and the way we see the world Taylor is what most pre-teens percieve it to be all happy endings and drama. |

Wouldn't waste the money on one after hearing her perform at the Brits. Her voice does not appeal to me at all. It seems it has been a pretty bad year for music.

She would change it as it's called eveloution which is what music is about finding something creative and out of the ordinary something unique and special. And GL if she continues to write this way she will alienate other listeners as her style of Writing is storybook at best it's tue that younger fans will find more in common in time with Alanis, Adele, Amy as her style of songwriting whilst good is juvenile.

Don't give me that, you're just as bad if not ten times worse! Any excuse. You bring Adele up in any unrelated thread, for example. I'd get down off that high horse if I were you before you have a nosebleed.
Check out post #53 as an example. |

To be fair and balanced I must point out that Adele stans have derailed just as many threads about Taylor.
