Recently I've discovered a band called Unknown Mortal Orchestra and one of their songs has such a catchy bassline.

Has anyone got any songs with a good riff on bass they enjoy/recommend?

Billy Cobham - Stratus.

One of the best known bass lines but I suspect few would know it was Billy Cobham

Can't do a Youtube link from my work PC I'm afraid

That was the very first Luther track I ever heard, and resulted in me buying the album... back in the days before iTunes and the like!

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have a lot of good funky basslines.
(e.g. Apache Rose Peacock, Naked in the Rain, Suck My Kiss etc)

That's what I call a bassline, but your link didn't work, so.

OK it's a double bass, but it's still a hell of a bassline.

Roisin Murphy - Overpowered has one of the best, most catchy basslines I've ever heard. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_LWbg2Y-V4&ob=av2n

Also Pet Shop Boys - West End Girls has a good bouncy bassline. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3j2NYZ8FKs&ob=av3e

These are the first ones that spring to mind but I'm sure there's lots more I can't think of right now.
