I'm disgusted at Juventus, Italian football and probably Italy as a country - Chelsea bloody Dagger when they score?

The race for the Pichichi might have been decided today as Messi has been ruled out for 6-8 weeks with a hamstring injury after coming off against Real Betis after just 22 minutes.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo netted yet another hat-trick in Madrid's 5-1 win over Real Sociedad, including a particularly sexy free kick. Diego Costa drew a blank in Atletico's 1-1 draw away to Villarreal and will surely struggle to keep pace with Ronaldo, who now has 24 in all competitions and it's only November. Ridiculous.

A couple of surprising results: Almeria continued their resurgence with a 1-0 win away in Osasuna, and previously bottom-placed Rayo Vallecano won 2-0 away in Vigo.

La Liga Matchday 13 Results:

Osasuna 0 - 1 Almeria
Granada 3 - 1 Malaga
Real Madrid 5 - 1 Real Sociedad
Getafe 1 - 1 Elche
Athletic Club 2 - 1 Levante
Celta Vigo 0 - 2 Rayo Vallecano
Espanyol 1 - 3 Sevilla
Valencia 2 - 2 Valladolid
Villareal 1 - 1 Atletico Madrid
Real Betis 1 - 4 Barcelona

Top Scorers:

Ronaldo (Real Madrid) - 16
Diego Costa (Atletico Madrid) - 13
Messi (Barcelona) - 8
Griezmann (Real Sociedad) - 8
Rakitic (Sevilla) - 7

Assists:

Koke (Atletico Madrid) - 8
Neymar (Barcelona) - 7
Fabregas (Barcelona) - 7
Suso (Almeria) - 5
Bale - (Real Madrid) - 5

In Germany, Bayern Munich extended their lead at the top of the table to 4 points with a standard 3-0 win over Augsburg. Dortmund slipped up away to Wolfsburg, losing 2-1.

Leverkusen came out on top in an 8-goal thriller with Hamburg, winning 5-3. The South Korean prodigy Heung Min Son bagging himself a hat-trick after some recent poor form. The gap between 3rd-placed Leverkusen and 4th-placed Monchengladbach is already 6 points after just 12 games, exhibiting the distinct gulf in quality between the top 3 and the rest of the Bundesliga.

The Saxony derby ended 0-0 as Hannover dominated Braunschweig but were unable to capitalise. Mame Diouf has been excellent for Hannover since signing but looked rusty after returning from his most recent injury. Schalke continue to push for the top 4 after their horrific start with a late comeback over Werder Bremen. A Kevin-Prince Boateng brace and an injury time goal finished off a 3-1 win.

Bundesliga Matchday 12 Results:

SC Freiburg 1 - 3 VfB Stuttgart
FSV Mainz 05 1 - 0 Eintracht Frankfurt
Borussia Monchengladbach 3 - 1 FC Nürnberg
Schalke 04 3 - 1 Werder Bremen
Bayern Munich 3 - 0 FC Augsburg
Hoffenheim 2 - 3 Hertha Berlin
VfL Wolfsburg 2 - 1 Borussia Dortmund
Bayer Leverkusen 5 - 3 Hamburger SV
Hannover 96 0 - 0 Eintracht Braunschweig

Top Scorers:

Lewandowski (Borussia Dortmund) - 9
Ibisevic (Stuttgart) - 8
Mandzukic (Bayern Munich) - 8
Lasogga (Hamburg) - 8
Aubameyang (Borussia Dortmund) - 7

Assists:

Ribery (Bayern Munich) - 6
Maxim (Stuttgart) - 6
Reus (Borussia Dortmund) - 5
Sam (Bayer Leverkusen) - 5
Van der Vaart (Hamburg) - 5

Didn't manage to catch any of the Ligue 1 games this weekend but PSG have also increased their lead at the top to 4 points, with Ibrahimovic picking up a hat-trick.

In Serie A, Roma drew at home to Sassuolo who haven't been doing too badly since Inter mauled them 7-0. Are the wheels coming off for Roma? Juventus beat Napoli in style (3-0) to move into 2nd and just 1 point behind Roma. Pirlo's dipping free kick and Pogba's volley are worth checking out.

Hope JMTD doesn't mind me copying his layout.

Wow thanks for that huge update!

What I think now then, is with Monaco, Ath. Madrid and Dortmund's stutterings, that leaves those leagues almost over, with PSG, Barcelona and Bayern now firmly in the driving seats in their respective leagues.

If those three don't comfortably end up League Champions, then I will be shocked!

As for Italy, those two draws for Roma have sure allowed Juve to close the gap somewhat!

So at least that league is competitive!

so are the other leagues right now

if dortmund beat munich in 2 weeks it will be 1pt diff and momentum to bvb

you dont need to be so sure of everything bats, remember when you said arsenal were playing for 3rd in their group and they went away to dortmund and won?

True, if Dortmund can win it opens that league up, andf if Ath Madrid beat Barca, it opens that league back up as well, but it is asking a lot for those two things to happen I would say, just due to the strength of the teams that they will be facing.

Although Messi being out for a while will hurt Barca, but not in the same sort of way that it would if this was two years ago or even just last season. Alexis, Neymar and Cesc have all stepped up big time, to almost end the Messi dependence that Barca have been suffering from in the past few years.

Credit to Arsenal though, yes they did what I thought that they wouldn't be able to do, so I can't find fault with them for that.

They deserves only praise for the way that they went about that match over there.

Big game In Germany 3-0 Bayern pretty clinical in The last 10 mins scoring twice in a minute, Dortmund created some excellent chances just didn't take theirs whereas Bayern did. After this result I think Bayern will have a great chance of going all season unbeaten.

Feel kinda sorry for Dortmund. Watched the game and they were in it right up until Pep brought on that new German midfielder of his who scored. This can't be good for the German league, title pretty much done and dusted in November.

Gotze coming back to haunt Dortmund! The jury is still out on his replacement, Mkhitaryan. He's got an eye for goal but not such an eye for a pass. Dortmund need a playmaker in that role rather than a second striker. Agree with you that it was a pretty even match until Bayern got the opener.

Can see Mandzukic possibly leaving soon. He's scoring goals but doesn't seem to fit into Bayern's current style.

Four goals for Carlos Vela in the Real Sociedad - Celta Vigo game.
Having spent numerous painful days watching Vela at Arsenal I can only assume that either he's become Messi pt 2 or Vigo are utterly shite?

Hummmm, we seem to have a player that could, and did used to fill such a role very successfully for them, I wonder if they will think of buying him back?

Could be a swap deal in there somewhere. You guys could use a Gundogan-type player in the middle, or even a Reus-type player out wide!

Big results at the weekend in Serie A. Roma remained undefeated for the season with another draw thanks to a last minute goal from Strootman, that's four straight draws though.

Juve left it to stoppage time to snatch a 1-0 win against Udinese, Llorente with the goal. Pirlo off early with a knee injury but should be okay. Victory sends them three points clear at the top and it'll probably be results like these that eventually will separate them from the rest in the title race.

Napoli are in action tonight to try to catch up with both Roma and Juventus, they take on Lazio who are missing Klose, though Napoli will likely still be without key man Hamsik. Verona also travel to Fiorentina tonight in a battle between fifth and sixth.

Inter dropped points too as Sampdoria scored late to take a massive point, they stay second from bottom. Pretty big games for both Napoli and Fiorentina tonight, wins for both keep them at least within decent distance, Napoli more so.

AC also got their first win in six league games. Kaka on the score sheet and finally Balotelli too after not scoring in six. Massive boost as El Shaarawy returns to fitness after three months out, could be crucial for their season.

So, I believe the only teams to remain unbeaten at this stage are PSG, Roma, and Bayern, I wonder who will be the last team to keep that record going?

Barca getting beat by Bilbao was a bit of a shock, so they have dropped out of that elite club.

Yes, my mind was thinking along those lines.

Bayern and PSG don't really have any more tough matches in which they could be seen as getting beat anytime soon.

So, could we see two teams go the whole season unbeaten? Would that be a first?

I still have my doubts as to if it will happen for either side, but there is still the possability that it could happen.

Juventus were fined 5,000 Euros for children making 'abusive' chants at the Udinese keeper at the weekend. This all came after usual hardcore fans were banned for 'extreme' chanting. What were the children chanting? "Sh*t" when the keeper went to take a goal kick. So based on that, shall we start fining every club for any language even close to this? You'll struggle to find a game nowadays where you don't see much worst. Pretty ridiculous decision. It's pocket change obviously, but that's not really the point here. The atmosphere was great for the game with the children filling up in the arena, bizarre decision once again.

In other news the Pirlo injury was a bit more than expected, will miss the rest of this year, looking at around 6-8 weeks so will miss key clashes against Galatasary and likely Roma in the new year too. Juve should be fine with Pogba, Marchisio and Vidal there though.

Prandelli has also been praising Totti and discussing him getting a call up ahead of the World Cup based on his form. Could see him called up for the World Cup squad if he can return from injury and continue the way he's been. Would be a pretty special moment for him. Totti will likely still be out of the big clash against Fiorentina this weekend, realistic return could be against Milan mid this month but I'd say the safe bet would be Catania on the 22nd.

Vidal has signed a new contract with Juventus up to 2017, pretty massive news. Most complete and best midfielder in the world for me, crucial they got that deal done.

And as usual, more bizarre stuff at Milan going on with Galliani and Barbara Berlusconi, coupled with Gattuso deciding to bad mouth women in general in football. The partnership between the two might work out better than expected though.

Top Scorers
Rossi - 12
Cerci - 8
Berardi - 7
Callejon - 7
Higuian - 7
Palacio - 7
Tevez - 7

Top Assists
Totti - 6
Cigarini - 5
Strootman - 5
Luca Toni - 5
Valero - 5

Juventus travel to Bologna on Friday while Napoli host Udinese on Saturday. Roma have a big game against Fiorentina on Sunday.

Juve.

Del Piero, Tacchinardi, Montero, Conte and Inzaghi got me. Was hooked on Nedved and Zambrotta and pretty much followed everything they did since then and became an avid fan of Serie A and Italian football.
