It's a Public Holiday in Italy tomorrow, so there's 7 Serie A games being played, and 3 of them are on BT:
Napoli-Sampdoria at 11:30am Milan-Atalanta at 2pm Lazio-Inter at 5:30pm That's my day sorted ![]() I could see Milan getting beat in their game, as they are doing about as well as we are in their league! I see ther are stories going around that Allegri could be going at the end of the season, no real surpise I would say. |

I wonder who will be next, there is talk of Seedorf, but he is a bit inexpierenced, espcially at this level, no matter his past links with the club. It will be interesting to see who they bring in next. |

Having a laugh at James Richardson et al in the studio, saying Roma had played all the football. Must be Roma fans to say that. Juve contained them, then hit them on the break. Much easier than I'd thought it would be. And Totti's diving is getting worse with age. |

It was fully deserved. Vidal is a wonderful player. I imagine they'll be getting mega offers for him all the time, but it'd be a shame to see him go. Tevez played v well too.
Having a laugh at James Richardson et al in the studio, saying Roma had played all the football. Must be Roma fans to say that. Juve contained them, then hit them on the break. Much easier than I'd thought it would be. And Totti's diving is getting worse with age. Napoli won 2-0 against Sampdoria earlier with two goals from Mertens. Mostly a routine win though Sampdoria were unbelievably unlucky with two shots crashing off of the line, one off of the post and one off of the crossbar. Milan currently 1-0 after a lovely Kaka goal from a great little counter attack. No Balotelli so Matri is leading the line. Verona are looking good again, going into halftime 2-0 up away to Udinese, two from Toni. And Catania are currently beating Bologna 1-0 in a key clash between two sides in the bottom four. Lazio/Inter later tonight. Also, the Rossi injury isn't as bad as it could of been but will still be looking at three months out at least. World Cup hopes completely in the balance, though there's apparent quotes from Prandelli floating around saying he'll wait for him and giving him encouragement to recover. It'll be an absolute massive risk from the looks of things if Prandelli takes him now, massive uphill battle for Rossi to pull it off but in fairness, he's clearly a fu*king strong minded guy considering what he's overcome in the past. And note on the above about Allegri, he's already confirmed he's leaving at the end of the season, if he makes it that long obviously. Seedorf is the main name being thrown around and has been for about a year now, which will be yet another massive risk from Milan if they appoint him. Allegri's comments in the build up to today's game were madness really, claiming that the match against Atalanta was a relegation dog fight, because comments like that are going to make things easier, right? Madness. |

Week 18 Results Sunday Chievo 0-0 Cagliari Fiorentina 1-0 Livorno Juventus 3-0 Roma Monday Napoli 2-0 Sampdoria AC Milan 3-0 Atalanta Catania 2-0 Bologna Genoa 2-0 Sassuolo Parma 3-1 Torino Udinese 1-3 Verona Lazio/Inter current 0-0 at halftime. A few big stories coming out of Italy this weekend/today. The Rossi and Allegri stuff as mentioned but Di Natale has now announced that he'll retire at the end of the season. Quote:
“The decision has already been made” Guidolin claims he knew nothing about it until finding out from the media. Well known that Di Natale is quite an emotional guy so there's a possibility he could do a U-turn on it. Either way, brilliant for Udinese and a class guy. Scored 162 goals for Udinese and has scored more than 20 in four straight seasons, apparently only the second player to do that (Batistuta the other). “I talked it over with my family and my agent, so I’ve decided this is my last campaign. It all ends in June.” Speaking after a 3-1 home defeat to Verona, Di Natale also confessed to feeling bitter at recent criticism. “It does hurt, because I’ve scored more goals for Udinese than I’ve gone out for dinner with my wife. I care about Udinese, as this club is like my family.” On that Rossi front, he's flying to the US to get further tests but his agent has already come out and said they've got very lucky and it's not as bad as feared. He feels there's a chance Rossi could be playing again within 6-7 weeks, should know a bit more in the coming days. |

It will be a very sad moment when Di Natale retires, as he has been such a great servant to that club that he cares so passionately about.

![]() Bet Ronaldo's got another 60 or 70 he could include, against the likes of Castilla or Guangdong Pharmaceutical Works Second XI. |

Messi is now 25/1 to be the pichichi this season. it's the greatest e/w bet I have ever seen, considering he's pretty much nailed-on to finish at least 2nd even if he doesn't play all the games.

Missed the first half hour, but that's the best 0-0 I've seen in a long time. Atletico have got some cracking players.

What sites that on? Might be worth a little flutter even if it will take something incredible to pull it off considering Ronaldo is 12 ahead.

Just about to watch Torino v Fiorentina and have heard Rossi is expected to be out for a long time after aggravating the knee problem that kept him out for 18 months at Villarreal. Very sad news considering the form he's been in this season, topping Serie A's top scorer list at the moment. Even if he doesn't need surgery he's facing several months out of action.

when I last checked, it was on quite a few of them, according to oddschecker. it only appears to be on Skybet now, and unfortunately no e/w odds. it's still a great price though, even with him being 12 behind. all it takes is a purple patch on his part and either a 2 or 3 match "drought" or injury for Ronaldo, and that gap could well get significantly smaller

![]() Sassuolo/Milan has been an absolute cracker. Milan went 2-0 up inside 15 minutes and it was looking like it was going to be a drubbing. Sassuolo fire back and now lead 4-2 after four from Berardi. Co-owned by Juve too. Quality game, ten minutes left and Honda has also come on about 20 minutes ago. |

That'll have no doubt sparked some interest in Berardi around the big clubs. Now joint-2nd top scorer in Serie A at a club battling relegation and he's only 19!

Sassuolo should play all their games in fog. They'd be unstoppable.

4-3 final score, should of been 4-4 but Pazzini pretty much missed an open goal. Mental match. |
