Yeah it all makes sense really the way it's calculated.

yeah i agree, i think inter can challenge for top spot for a few months but bettting money would be on juve-roma title chase

3rd is open for napoli milan and inter. napoli are inconsistent under rafa, milan have a stronger squad but its a bit mish mash and newbie manager. inter have 2nd season under same manager and a real transfer policy moving forwards, team is young and has talent.

i think inter will grab 3rd,

Reminds me of Barthez, he wasn't much of fan of just staying in his area, must be the failed striker in them coming out!

Neuer should have been sent off in that game! Clear red card. He ran almost to the halfway line and played the ball with his hand.

Absolutely shocking display from Bayern. HSV is a sure candidate for relegation! No wonder Pep keeps talking about ManUtd. He is preparing everyone for a midtable finish for Bayern this season. Thankfully Hoeness is being released and will send Pep packing pretty soon.

If Bayern Munich finish 'mid-table', I'll eat my own foot.

Get a grip.

Well, last time Germany won the World Cup with mostly Bayern players they finished 10th in the league the following season. I'm not expecting midtable, but I think Dortmund have a good chance of winning the league this season unless Bayern get a grip and Robben gets fit.

Bayern are around 1/9 to win the Bundesliga. The odds on them finishing lower than third would be huge I'd imagine.

Well Dortmund haven't exactly started the season much better than Bayern, their defeat wasn't exactly against the run of play in that match.

Bayern should be fine for the league, they have got far too many good and talented players, even if Pep is trying to win it by only playing midfielders!

Any trouble that they might be in by January, and they have the financial clout to just spend their way out of danger.

I was linking to that because I thought it was funny, and because it's Neuer. Don't need to give such a serious reply to it. It just ruins the fun of it..

Matches like the Barcelona one tonight annoy me.

No-one expects Levante to win. Even a draw would be a surprise but at least give it a good go. Levante have been abysmal and the scoreline flatters Barcelona.

For the Nigel Reo-Coker fetishists, he's been sent off in the MLS.

The referee only did it so he could get close to Nige.

Ronaldo making it easy yet again. 3 at the weekend..........Another 4 tonight

Scored in all five of their last games, 10 in 5 games and an assist. Absolute machine, untouchable right now.

Bale on absolute fire too. 5 goals and 2 assists in 6 so far.

Elsewhere, Milan just leveled back against Empoli to 2-2. 60 minutes gone, worth a watch.

I wonder what happens to him in the national team. He never seems to be able to replicate his phenomenal form for Portugal.

He's surrounded by a considerably worse team at international level nowadays, there's only so much he can do.

Exactly. Nani is a 'key man' for Portugal, and they've not had anything resembling a striker, for years.

Bayern hosting top of the table Paderborn, and then comfortably beating them, at one point I was flicking between that and the Real match, wondering who would end up scoring more, as both looked far too strong for their opponents.

Yep, the fear of Hoeness' wrath got them winning again
