Wonder strike from Bonucci to put Juve 3-2 up and now all hell breaks loose, red for Moratta and Manolas. Referee hasn't had the best of games.

That was a good game, it ebbed and flowed well, some controversy over a couple of the pens, but you really never knew who was just going to edge it!

Real Madrid strolling to another comfortable win with half an hour to go. It's 3-0 at the moment. A bit boring really. Here's hoping Atletico can go the distance again.
EDIT: Speaking of wonder goals, it might be worth your while looking up Eibar's (a Spanish club) 2nd goal against Levante from last night. A free kick clipped to the edge of the box, followed by a volley into the top corner. |

PSG are fast becoming the draw specialists of Europe!
As for Real, Ronaldo scored his third hat-trick in four league games, even if the last goal came off if his elbow! |

In what way did Inzaghi, a hugely successful striker who won everything, not understand football?

Terrible refereeing. I'm gutted for Roma. They didn't deserve to lose that game. Totti heavily implied there was improper conduct on Juve/referee's part which should be investigated.

He wasn't exactly a player who could read the game. His game was to stand near the opponent's goal (usually offside) and wait for Pirlo & Co to pass him the ball. Then he could finish one way or another. He never played beautifully and I never rated him as a player who understands or can change the course of play. However, I know Berlusconi has a soft spot for him and I thought that's how he got the Milan job. He seems to be doing alright so far though.

Totti being Totti, no surprise there. The reality is the referee just had a bit of a stinker, it happens. Sure Totti didn't mention how he had a stinker sending off Moratta.

It's not like Juve don't have a history of improper behaviour... I think Roma looks like the stronger team at the moment.
Juventus being involved in a scandal almost ten years back doesn't mean a referee having a stinker (in which he also made bad decisions against Juventus) means there's suddenly match fixing back on the horizon. |

To score as many goals as he did for the teams he did against the opposition he did and make it look like he's just standing around requires an ability to read the game far beyond the comprehension of most people. As proven. |

Referee hasn't had the best of games.
That was a cracking game to watch yesterday, two teams that genuinely dislike each other, two lovely goals (Bonucci's could have been chalked off for the guy stood in front of the keeper being offside perhaps), three penalties (two of which were dubious to say the least), two sending's off... Brilliant stuff! I feel for Roma because the majority of the ref's bad decisions (not all though, mind you) went in Juvé's favour. Roma are pretty damn scuppered by injuries at the moment, and even bearing that in mind they have still had a fantastic start to the season. It could prove to be a very interesting season in Italy if Roma do manage to keep pace; but it will be a tough ask for them as they are currently missing their first-choice keeper, a fair chunk of their back line and an entire central midfield (De Rossi and Strootman). Hopefully the international break will give them chance to get a few players back fit before they play next. France could be one to watch this season too, PSG currently don't look like they want to play for Blanc, whilst the Marseille players look like they'd run through brick walls for Bielsa. If Marseille can keep up their current form and pull away before PSG get their act together (which they must do at some point surely), then it could be a very interesting title race indeed. |

I am really enjoying the French league at the moment, Marseille look outstanding at the moment, whereas PSG just don't look the same team without Ibra.
When he comes back, I expect that they will start winning, rather than drawing so many of their games. Gignac though looks like he is really "at it" this season, and is hungry for success, which could be a huge factor in where the title ends up. |

Good to see Gignac get in french squad. |

Starting to wonder if the PSG team are treating ligue 1 as an afterthought. Even without Ibra they shouldn't be dropping so many points.
Cavani is getting loads of stick from fans and media. Good to see Gignac get in french squad. Gignac is an interesting one, he's obviously in good form, and he looks to be enjoying himself at Marseille at the moment. The chances are though that he won't be there next season; one of the journos on BT last night pointed out that he's in the last year of his contract and he's probably too expensive for Marseille to keep him on after that. The crunch will come in January, do Marseille cash in on him while they can still get a transfer fee for him, or do they keep him for this season and let him go for free in the summer? |

I suspect it was a case of "not getting caught" rather than being innocent there Whedon.
also not to mention it clearly didnt work for inter even if they had tried! even when inter ended juves unbeaton home run it was after juve were given an incorrect offside goal after 2 mins. hopefully tottis comments will put more focus on refs. |

you can suspect but the courts ruled juve were in the wrong, so they cant sit there playing the victims.
