Just wanted to express my Schadenfreude that Juventus lost on the day of Buffon's 500th cap and Roma won, so they're joint at the top now. Woohoo!

Does anyone have an opinion on the tax fraud investigation against Fabio Cannavaro and his wife? Surely they can't touch a national hero?!

Dortmund actually played really well against Bayern and deserved their lead. Of course any club whose policy is to sell their best players will struggle.

Also, Hummels is playing like crap and his top form at this World Cup may have been down to Lahm organising the defence.

I feel sorry for Klopp. He was rumoured as the next Germany manager, but it won't happen if Dortmund finish near relegation.

Apologies if already posted but ipad is playing up. Last night's goal by James Rodriguez.
Now that Carlo is in charge and they are playing like this, they're a joy to watch. Even if they do have Ramos and Pepe

So Dortmund go into their game against Monchengladbach this afternoon at the bottom of the Bundesliga. There's a sight I didn't think I'd see under Klopp's tenure! I'll be tuning in to cheer them on.

What a hilarious game that was a comedy own goal by Kramer, but a win is a win.

Dortmund are about 1 sale (Reus) away from relegation. Their policy of selling their best players to Bayern has finally paid off. They could still win the CL though.

I did not expect them to do so well under Allegri this season. It's going to be very tough for Roma

Matches in Greece’s professional leagues have been suspended indefinitely after a referees’ committee official was admitted to hospital following a violent attack.

Police said 45-year-old Christoforos Zografos, the assistant director of the central refereeing committee, was beaten with wooden clubs by two men on a motorcycle in west Athens in the early hours of Friday.

Ronaldo with yet another hat trick which beats the La Liga record and put's him at 23, madness. Something like 23 goals in 13 games in the league, 200th league goal in 178 games, just on a completely different level right now.

Ronaldo's 1/5 to win the ballon d'or. Easy money I would say if you have it.

You'd think this Real Madrid team have a chance as anyone to finally end that hoodoo of retaining the Champions league. Something tells me they wont though, I don't know why, you could see Mourinho shutting them out and their defence also is still a little suspect.

The tragic thing about Ronaldo of course is he turns 30 in two months, how long will he continue that goalscoring ratio up as he goes into his 30s? If he's going to smash Messi's pichichi record you'd imagine he'll have to do it this season.

Bayern Munich will win it this year.

Watching the MLS Cup Final between "LA" Galaxy and New England Revolution. 0-0 at the moment. LA are the favourites with Keane and Donovan spearheading their attack but I'd like to see NE with Jermaine Jones pick up the trophy.

Steaua Bucharest:

Just heard a report about this on the radio. Must say it was the first I had heard of it

Romania's most famous club, who were founded in 1947 as an army side, had their registration cancelled by Romania's highest court on Wednesday after losing a battle over their trademark with the country's defence ministry.

The ministry had first resorted to law in 2011, saying the club had used the Steaua brand illegally since 2004.

The court verdict effectively left the most popular and successful club in Romanian football as a team with no name.

The 1986 European champions, playing in yellow instead of their famous red and blue shirts, were presented on Sunday by the stadium's announcer as "the champions of Romania".

They appeared as "hosts" on the scoreboard and the club's emblem was replaced by an empty square. Steaua was never mentioned.

It was funny for awhile, but is Klopp actually serious?! Is he getting Dortmund relegated? They lost to Werder who as far as I'm aware were last in the league table (until today). They have now overtaken Dortmund who are confidently heading towards relegation.

Bizarre. Why are they so bad in the league this season? I understand they've had issues with injuries but still, their position is amazing.

I know it's generally regarded as a joke, but I'm a little bit dissapointed that no UK broadcaster appears to be showing the Club World Cup final.

Goal.com Ha! Was news to me, but thank you for the link. Hope we don't see more of this sort of thing though. I like my sport on the traditional linear platform.

They finished with 22 !

Very comfortable 2-0 win in the end with Bale getting the second

Could( and should ) have been a few more

This is surprising. Hopefully it can be resolved, as it could potentially destroy their merchandise revenue.
