There have been all-Spanish and all-Italian finals in each competition before, possibly not in the same year though if that's what you mean.

I'm rooting for Juventus now, it's not often they appear to be the big underdog.

Yeah that was what I was meaning, so in a way that would be good to see, but personally I would just like yourself to see Juve do well and get to the final.

It is hard to judge each match at this moment, which is how games at this stage should be!

juve have all the tools to win it just like inter milan did in 2010.

however i still think madrid will progress. inter had the jose factor too

bayern are slight favs imo but i hope barca can do it.

Barcelona are unstoppable what a team and now Suarez is doing what he did at Liverpool, how many goals is he on now?

I think the saying of "the immoveable object verses the irresistible force" for the matches against Bayern is apt, both teams are of such a high level.

Bayern v Dortmund finished 1-1 and going to penalties in the German Cup Semi Final.

Carpi have been promoted to Serie A.

Apparently their ground only holds 4k!

Puts the doubts about Bournemouth's 12k into some sort of perspective!

And they miss the fourth. What a bloody awful set of penalties.

Bayern miss all of their 4 pens to go out.

Considering Lahm and Alonso both slipped when taking their pens, I suspect 'Pep' will force the groundsman to quit...

The best bit is that Owen Hargreaves is commentating on BT and sounds like his dog has just died.

Awful penalties.

Those players need to get positive mental images in their minds when facing a penalty shoot out.

Just imagine they're playing England

Good on them. I think they'll go straight back down as they don't have the infrastructure to compete but I do hope that they enjoy their season at the top.

mancini sorting inter milan out slowly but surely

and in spain the barca trident hits 100 goals, could build a new barca legacy? the trident era after the tiki taka era.

Apparently not, not until the new owner has fully taken over anyway. It'll probably be the end of the season by then anyway.
It's shocking how far ACM have fallen in recent years ever since Belusconi fell from favour.

I read someone saying somewhere on these forums (probably about Balotelli) that AC Milan is where all the flops from around europe end up. I was just...
