im lucky i have premier sports for the NHL, shame that so many wont watch this tournament though. saying that if it was on BT or Sky a large number of people woul not watch it i guess.
It's one of those that I'd almost certainly watch a fair bit of if it was on Sky/BT, although not religiously like I would a World Cup/Euros. However I'll not be getting Premier Sport especially for it. It's on Youtube as well, although I think that'll be blocked to the UK.

think it will be blocked, premier sports are advertising it as exclusive.

PS is a good channel, some offers you can get it for very cheap initially, i always cancel it in june though usually after nhl playoffs have ended

the timings will be less friendly that brazil worlld cup of course, some games i will have to avoid score the next day

Yeah that is the case with me as well, it would be great to watch, but I am not going to go out of my way, in our household we already pay for Sky Sports, BT Sports and MUTV, so we are not going to pay more for another channel.

Hopefully there will be ways of catching the best of the action.

I watch everything online. I'm only watching TV if I'm in the living room and have to endure what my flatmates watch, which is usually something ghastly. With a VPN and a decent internet connection you've got every major sporting event at your fingertips at a fraction of the cost. I would say!

A bit like the Euros, the Copa America is usually better than the World Cup as you're getting competitive games from the off and played at a really good pace with lots of goals.

Would like to see Messi win it for Argentina but I've got a feeling that Brazil will take it, especially since Dunga has taken over the managerial role. He's a very good manager, even if they do play boring football under him. I still think they'd have won the 2010 World Cup had they not had that mad 20 minute spell against the Dutch, they were in such control up until 60 odd minutes

It could well be a case of two clubmates dominating the tournament, in the shape of Messi and Neymar, whomever does the best in the tournament out of those two, could well lead their team to overall victory.

They might also be well knackered by the time they take the field, both have had a long season as well as Alves and Mascherano.

Not counting them out, I think Chile as usually will be the most exciting team to watch. Colombia, again should be there or thereabouts.

Elche have been relegated and Eibar have been saved in the Spanish league, due to the formers debts.

the Copa isn't on ESPN or Sky then? Who are Premier and can you get a 1 month sub?
If it's blocked on UK youtube there's no way I'll work out how to catch it and I hate streams.
Plus I'd prefer to record some of the matches due to the middle of the night scheduling UK time.

I can remember Erwin Sanchez from that team and I'm sure there was a long curly hair player who was supposed to be decent. Didn't they lose 2-0 to Germany in that game?

Etcheverry's probably the curly haired guy you mean, I remember him being the only player the media mentioned beforehand and then he came on and just got himself sent off straight away. That game seemed to last about four hours too.

I was thinking, what is the most amount of different confederation titles a player has won?

So has someone say won the Copa Libertadores, Asian Champions League and European Champions League before?
Or something along those lines?

hope Eibar's coach comes back too. I'm really pleased for them.

£10 a month for Premier too much. I'll have to hope the YouTube channel isn't blocked and keeps the previous days matches on it as I'm not staying up until 2am watching football

if you use the code COPAPREMIER, you can watch the whole tournament for £9.99 which isn't bad. I always cancel my Sky Sports in the summer, so paying the tenner for this won't be a problem at all.

How do you manage that with 12 month contracts? Surely if you restart your sub in August each year you're committed until the end of the following July

it's only 12 months from when you first sign up. after that, you can add and remove packages as you wish.

I appreciate I could look this up myself but as you're here......

How much do you save by cancelling? Do they ever offer you anything to keep the Sport or are they happy enough to just cancel it?

it's close to £20 a month, I think. I've had them offer it to me for free for three months a couple of times (which I accepted) and half-price another couple of times (which I refused).
