Real Madrid currently 8-2 up on Rayo Vallecano with about 15 minutes or so to go. Bale has scored 4 of them. Vallecano have been playing with 9 men since the 28th minute.

To be fair Rayo did rile the beast by daring to take the lead and go 2-1 up!

Benzema makes it 9-2. Still 10 minutes left.

It could have been different if they didn't decide to go crazy & get themsleves down to 9 men.

9-2 with 10 minutes to go.

Would of been interesting to see what would have happened if they didn't get anyone sent off, they were winning after all!

Real have scored more goals in this match then I think we have had shots on target at home all season!

10-2! I guess Rayo didn't win

Loved how the scoreline graphic was unable to handle 10 and had to make it smaller than the rest of the text to squeeze it in!

Absolute trash league. Put Sheffield Wednesday, Birmingham or any other mid-table championship side in La Liga and they'd be challenging for mid-table

Put any Premier League team in against Real Madrid with only 9 men and they'd get stuffed too. If you had actually watched the match instead of looking at the final score, you'd see that Rayo were actually the better team in the opening period.

Every other week, RM and/or Barca put over 5 goals past the fodder (any team not in the top 5)

AC Milan are terrible at the moment. They drew away to Carpi the other week, drew at home to bottom club Verona last week and are now losing away to Frosinone!

They've good some good players now (Bacca, Adriano, Niang etc...) so its surprising how much they're struggling.

I have seen a few teams score nine goals in a match before (including my own team, ahh those were the days!), but for some strange reason not ten, so credit to Real Madrid.

Speaking of Spanish teams, congratulations must also go to Barcelona who are unsurprisingly officially now the best club team on the planet after winning the Club World Cup beating River Plate in the final.

They also score plenty in the Champions league. We all know the league isn't top to bottom as competitive as the premier league but the top end of the premier league is bang average.

The championship is a competitive leave doesn't mean it's a quality league.

Still in need of a quality defender to partner Romagnoli. Alex has looked ok but you can't see him being there much longer. Mexes and Zapata are down the pecking order.

Ligue 1 - After winning today PSG are 23 points clear at the top now with 17 games to go.

Think they might just hold on to win the league.

It is like at Celtic (and most likely Bayern) winning a league title there is now practically guaranteed before the season starts.

Barca were helped a lot by playing against ten men for as long as they did

Which Madrid team are you talking about, as at the moment, Athletico seem to have a much better chance than Real of putting together a fight for the league title.
