Real now 4 games without a win as well... la Liga realising they need to make their league as open and unpredictable as our premier league!

2 goals from Bale give Real a ht lead in a pretty un-inspiring performance so far

Errrrrrr.........USA 0-4 Costa Rica, that is a bit of a shock result, surely Kilinsmann won't last much longer as their head coach after this!

Under Klinsmann's illustrious achievements just within the last 2 years, we've now lost to Jamaica 2x (when they'd never beaten us before), Guatemala, Panama, lost to Mexico at home twice (our only win in Mexico is a friendly in 2012), and as of last night, just suffered our worst WCQ defeat since 1980. We are about 4-6 more points dropped from being in serious danger of not qualifying automatically, if at all. And Klinsmann said the 2018 WC goal was to reach the semifinals!!! He's out of excuses now. It's 2016 and Michael Bradley still manages a full 90 minutes worth of completely ineffective play. |

No team under this current CONCACAF qualifying format (since 1998) has lost their first two and qualified automatically.

If you don't qualify, that could have major repercussions for you big time I think, although somehow I do still expect to see you lot ending up being there in Russia. Those results are terrible though I will say that. |

I had a feeling that Barcelona wouldn't win today, because of the Champions League game during the week. Normally I'd have put them in an accumulator to bump up the odds, but I've been hurt before by them on games before a CL game. And today, before the game, I read Messi and Suárez weren't playing, which made me confident they weren't going to win. And, sure enough, they didn't.

Dortmund beating Bayern, and with RB currently doing very well, I wonder if we could have a Leicester style champion over in Germany this season?

RB Leipzig are hardly comparable to Leicester. Other than recently being promoted, they're not plucky underdogs, and I doubt people in Germany will be cheering them on the same way people did with Leicester. Personally I love the story about how they were setup and moved into a nearby stadium, with Red Bull getting around ownership rules and having a five year plan, but they aren't a loved club.

Before the season started I thought that it would be a battle between Dortmund and Bayern for the title, so if another club were to come in, and win it, especially one that has only recently been established, then it would kind of come under shock winners I think. |

I'm fully aware of what you meant. Just the only thing comparable is that they'd be new champions, and were recently in a lower division. RB Leipzig have got to where they are through investment, rather than the way Leicester did.

Apparently, Carlos Tevez has been offered £650k a week to play in China. Nearly £4,000 an hour.
