Speaking of legendary Serie A player's (Totti), what is Zanetti's status at Inter? Is he back yet, as I think that he was injured for a while wasn't he?

Did his Achilles tendon last season and everyone expected him to retire, but recently he's said he wants to continue playing.
The man's a machine.![]() I have sooo much respect for him, I hope that he makes it back as he is truly worthy of the tag Legend. |

A 2-0 win for Roma then in a tight game sends them 5 points clear the top of Serie A. A brace for Pjanic, but both goals had an element of fortune about them: the first was a free kick that took a slight deflection off the wall, and the second a dubiously awarded penalty. But they'll take it! Just 1 goal conceded in 8 games now! Maicon is looking a solid signing at right back after that poor period at Man City.
Juventus can close the gap to 2 points but have a tough away fixture at Fiorentina tomorrow and haven't looked convincing this season. Leverkusen managed to climb to the top of the Bundesliga with a 2-1 away win at Hoffenheim in crazy circumstances: Kiessling's goal appeared to go in through the side netting but was still awarded! Bayern and Dortmund both have home matches they'll be expecting to win after dropping points in their last games before the break. |

So Roma, join Ath Madrid and Barcelona as the only teams to win all their league games this season, I wonder which out of those three will be the first to drop points?

Cavani's is right slick too - so easy.Watched Milan beat Udinese 1-0 earlier and Birsa scored a bit of a pearler: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YYJ5-GNMqQ - Not quite as good as Ibra's, mind! Atletico were handed a golden chance to go top of La Liga after Barca inexplicably drew 0-0 away to Osasuna. Messi made his comeback in the 68th min but couldn't help Barca to victory. Unfortunately, Atletico lost 1-0 away to Espanyol and so Roma are the only team left in Europe's top 5 leagues with a 100% record! |

Fiorentina/Juve about to kick off, should be a cracking game as always. Toni starts for Verona, could move up into 4th with a win today and continue a pretty damn good start to their return to Serie A.
Vidal on the bench so Juve start with a midfield of Pogba, Pirlo and Marchisio. Gomez still out injured for Fiorentina sadly but Rossi starts up top, 5 goals in 7 this season. |

Juve throwing away the game at the moment. Were two up and in absolute control, gave away a stupid penalty (possibly a bit of a harsh one in fairness) and now a howler from Buffon. 2-2 with 15 minutes left.
Edit: 3-2! Fiorentina leading, mental. Edit: 4-2! Rossi hat trick! F*cking hell. |

Lively game between Torino and Inter going on at the moment. 2-2 with 15 mins to play, this after Inter had their keeper sent off after 5 mins, only for the sub to come on and save the resulting penalty.

Bale may have announced his arrival tonight in Madrid's 7-3 win over Sevilla. 2 goals, 2 assists and some great link-up play with Ronaldo. Was a fantastic match for the neutral. Ronaldo helped himself to a hat-trick, while Benzema bagged a brace as well as two assists also to end his 7-game goal drought.

Mental game. I only started watching because the first half of Newcastle-city was an utter snorefest.

Here's a strange one, watching the Dortmund, Stuttgart game and the Stuttgart player dived according to the ref but he didn't give the guy a card and he gave a drop ball and Dortmund gave the ball back to Stuttgart :0
What was that all about lol |
