Say you have like a 750mb data allowance or something... If you use HSDPA from the sure signal. does it come out of your Vodafone data allowance?

Best to use the Sure Signal for nothing other than voice and texts and use Wi-Fi for data. |

No - how can it? You are using your broadband ISP to access the data!
I had this argument with Vodaphone and more recently 3. Even though it uses your broadband it still comes out your allowance. So use your wireless internet! |

if you're at home and your phone has wifi it should be using it anyway. you may be using your bandwidth, but you haven't stopped using their bandwidth, they are sat on the other end of that connection. and you don't have to buy it. |

Costs a network money to provide a femtocell, every time you use it the network has to pay your broadband provider for the interconnect costs for them to carry the signal through their network and into your mobile operators network.
It's quite right it should come from your allowance. |

For me the whole point is that in the middle of a contract with Vodafone I move to a property which is extremely rural and indoor coverage is shite.
I have so many minutes to use up but lack of coverage was preventing me from making a call unless I stood by the fireplace and stood totally still Sure Signal is therefore, for me a no brainer. |
