Any news who makes the display?
I'm assuming it is the new LG AH-IPS similar in type to the True HD ones in the new LG phones. |

I know it's very irritating indeed! Isn't it funny how Apple are able to make some of the best, most powerful gadgets in the whole world, yet when it comes to managing demand on a web store they simply cannot cope, despite the fact that this level of demand must surely have been anticipated.

I got all the way to the accessories page the first time before it broke! Gutted! Supposed to be meeting some friends for a drink too.. not sure whether too admit I'm late as I was refreshing a website constantly! Just suspect by the time I get back, they'll be out.

Wow that's very annoying! Is it just me or is the UK store loading slower now-that gives me slight hope that they are at least trying to fix the problem!

Hmmehbahh,
Not impressed with this at all. Its now getting on for 11pm, and for the UK folks, some of us have to be in work tomorrow morning! I don't mind if they delayed it 24 hours, but at least an update would be good! |

I'm giving up ...no sign of life on the Apple store site so off to bed. Barring insomnia , I'll wait till telesales opens at 08:00..I've got the direct number for the sales assistant who tried to place my order tonight before their order system crashed again so will drive into work then call

Inclined to agree. Doubting this was a publicity stunt now, definitely a massive cock up by apple.
This is no raspberry pi! |

Well, are they running that shop on macs? It's not a good advertisment. They will probably spin it and say that the interest was so f.ecking huuge it crashed their system, but one would think such a mega rich company could spare a few dollars on an infrastructure. But then macs are expensive
