720p looks fine because its far away, if it was only a foot away it would look terrible.
I see a massive difference going from my iPhone 4 to my iPad 2, the text is no where near as clear and sharp. It's not terrible but an increase is definetly welcome.
If I could choose a quad core processor or retina display, I would also choose the increased display,
