Theres a dedicated app for bbc iplayer, the rest of them you have the watch via the the web browsers, not had any problems with them, personally however only use them nowvand again.

BBC iPlayer for TV (and radio, don't forget) is one of my favourite uses for my Playbook. It's great for use in bed (and in the bath - but you have to be careful not to drop it!)

I've also use 4oD a few times and that works well. I haven't used the other services as there's little on those channels I watch.

Does "sideloading" of Android apps mean you could also install Sky Go?

BBC iplayer is great on the Playbook especially when you connect it up to the TV via the HDMI cable.
