I didn't realise this was a Eurovision song until just now. But anyway, I felt this captured Ruth's essence really well and stood out in a sea of glam-rock songs. I wish I'd entered something more like this

This has a great quirky vocal that I think suits Nicolo really well. I'm surprised it didn't do better, although I guess that it's quite a marmite entry. Also loving the 80s influenced beat

(Round 1.13 Stacey Solomon, cheekypeter, 12th)
And the award to the most underrated song that isn't mine goes to...this one! Honestly was SHOCKED that this was 12th, I think SG's voice is a dead ringer for Stacey. I guess people were looking for the bigger vocals this round, but I thought this had such a instant sound to it.

I had a feeling this would win as soon as Luke submitted it and it was definitely deserved. I had a strong rocky feeling without losing Ethan's vocal style. I remember when a few votes in a row gave it zero and I thought it was doomed to no points! But then it was redeemed by the last couple of voters

It had everything about Belle Amie down to a tee! It was just catchy (excuse the pun), funky and really worked, deserved the top 3 placing!

It didn't seem like it would work at first on paper but it was something I could really imagine the girls rocking. Great choice.

I always found Aiden pretty depressing which is why this really worked for him but it was a great choice that got a well-deserved placing

I think it deserved higher to be honest, granted, it wasn't my favorite of the round but it was definitely a top 10 for me. But it really worked, surprisingly!

In retrospect I'm surprised this didn't do better. Possibly a victim of being seen as a favourite? Regardless, it's a really strong song that I believe gave rise to Carlisle's mentoring of Pernille in NTA so it's got a lot to answer for

(Round 1.10 Princes & Rogues, cheekypeter, 1st)
Pete's first win! One I saw coming but that doesn't mean it wasn't very much deserved. I think this was head and shoulders above the rest in this round (although I think Sexual Lifestyle sounds quite similar ).

Mmm Frankmusik. Anyway, uh, yeah Aliyah's first win! I tried to submit this as well actually, but Aliyah has connections so I was unable to Jokez, she got there first and listening back I see exactly why we both wanted to use it!

This is another underrated song, one I thought for sure would be up there with the likes of Raiders and Those Dancing Days. I for one think this is pure Belle Amie, almost as good as my Anna Abreu song

(Round 1.5 Ruth Lorenzo, Strictly_Irish, 2nd)
I think this stood out against most of the other Ruth songs; it's a much bigger ballad and it starts out most softer. I think it encapsulated the old song that a lot of Ruth's XF performances have, great almost win for Louise!
