As a new O2 customer who signed up mainly to be able to get Prioity concert tickets I'm very disappointed with trying to book Guns&Roses at the O2 Arena this morning. I sat with my finger on the button ready for 9am and as soon as the status changed to on sale I clicked and selected 2 tickets for lower tier and I was presented with block 109 - that's right at the back of the arena, I was expecting at least block 101 or 112 so I don't think this Priority service is very good - I'll probably get better seats when they go onsale to the general public! Thanks very much O2!

See the thread below about tickets, rat bags like Viagogo and Seatwave have nabbed all the best seats to sell at vast profits.

For me, the best thing about 02 Priority is the quicker lines at the 02 Academy when you're seeing gigs.

I've only ever had good experiences with the tickets, maybe you were just a bit unlucky?

with o2 you get a priority chance to buy tickets, as advertised, but they don't say anywhere that you will get good tickets

in fact with most presales, it's not the best seats on offer, as they keep the better seats aside as they know it will be easier to shift those later on than shifting crap seats

so the presales just give you a chance to make sure you get a ticket at all

Presale tickets quite often aren't that good. I have had front row seats on several occasions using them though so always worth a look.

Yep, I'm on O2 and have bought priority tickets on a number of occasions and for venues with allocated seating it's often not the best blocks that are made available via priority. I still check because sometimes it is worth it, but a few times have ended up just going for general release tickets rather than the ones available via O2 priority.

It's still well worth using O2 priority for tickets for smaller venues where there isn't allocated seating.

I usually get good seats. I got second row Madonna seats once and gold circle tickets this year. I got in there at 10am on the dot
