Yes.
ICS has been out a while (Ive had my Nexus for a few months now).
The delay isnt with Google its with the likes of Samsung and ASUS wanting to tailor Android with their own tweaks. With Mobiles you get the extra complexities of carriers (such as T-Mobile or Orange) ALSO adding their tweaks.
Thats one of the big benefits of the Nexus range. Its pure Google with no manufacturer or carrier add-ons.
Whilst a big pro of Android is the variety of units - and therefore the choice to the consumer. The con is that it takes longer for updates to filter out.
However .... The differences between Honeycomb (the tablet OS) and ICS is much less than the difference between Gingerbread (on phones) and ICS. A unit running Honeycomb isnt suddenly redundant.
