Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V HTC Desire HD

Lost my HTC so my insurance are due to pay out in the next couple of days....is the Xperia better than the HTC? I can get either handset's for roughly the same price

Very similar phones in terms of specifications. The Neo screen is a touch smaller but slightly better resolution wise and has 256Mb less RAM but I guess if you fancy a change from HTC you wont end up regretting it.

Although I'm quite a fan of HTC, the Desire HD,whilst a well-built high-performer, has THE WORST battery performance of any smartphone. I'd often get customers complaining it needs charging twice-per-day. It's also no-longer in production. If your choice is that or the Neo-V, go for the Sony.

Just found out the Neo V was recalled ....guy at carphone warehouse tells me that Sony Ericsson have major problems with a lot of their phones.....
