Mine is extremely embarrassing, I saw Busted in Manchester when I was about 13, with the unknown McFly supporting. For shame. What was yours?

Michael Jackson Bad Tour when I was 6. My older brothers and sister were going but I wasn't meant to be. My mum at the last minute thought it would be a great experience for me to look back on seeing it was MJ so off we went the day of the concert and managed to score tickets. We left a note for my dad, who was at work, saying 'Gone to Michael Jackson' Even though I only remember bits and pieces of the show, I'll always be grateful to my mum for taking me.

Absolutely
Mine was UB40, Penzance April 1980. Sweaty, small club and absolutely brilliant. That was when they were really good.

Why is that embarrassing though? You were at the age these groups were aiming for and Busted were actually quite a good boyband

Mind you, if I had gone to my first gig at 13 I would probably have chosen Slade, Bowie or Queen

I just wish I'd chosen something I still enjoyed now, something I could look back on and proudly tell people I saw. Busted though....I should hit my 13 year old self in the face. I soon saw sense.
