First Gig
Mine is extremely embarrassing, I saw Busted in Manchester when I was about 13, with the unknown McFly supporting. For shame. What was yours?

Possibly Culture Club when I was 14 (13?). I forget which city. I went with my cousin, and sisters on a coach. Was good fun!

Michael Jackson Bad Tour when I was 6. My older brothers and sister were going but I wasn't meant to be. My mum at the last minute thought it would be a great experience for me to look back on seeing it was MJ so off we went the day of the concert and managed to score tickets. We left a note for my dad, who was at work, saying 'Gone to Michael Jackson'
Even though I only remember bits and pieces of the show, I'll always be grateful to my mum for taking me.

Now that is a first gig to be proud of.
![]() Mine was UB40, Penzance April 1980. Sweaty, small club and absolutely brilliant. That was when they were really good.

![]() Mind you, if I had gone to my first gig at 13 I would probably have chosen Slade, Bowie or Queen

Why is that embarrassing though? You were at the age these groups were aiming for and Busted were actually quite a good boyband
