The first live show I ever saw was the Backstreet Boys on their 'Millennium' tour, it was amazing. The fact that they're still going strong now is amazing, they've been together for almost 19 years.
I'm seeing their concert with New Kids On The Block in April

Heather Nova 1999, Salisbury, in the old cathedral I think. Can't remember. Also saw Hole at Brixton Academy the same year.

Do big multi-act gigs count? If so, then my first was Capital FM's Party In The Park in 200...1? It rained for most of the day, so me and my friend went home with 90 mins left cos we'd seen everyone we wanted to see.

Single gig, would probably have been Justin Timberlake at Earls Court in about 2003-2004?

Both my first & last gig was Jesus Jones! First in the Forum (then Town & Country Club) in Feb 1991, then in Jan 2012 in the Islington Academy. Kicked ass both times!

I'm a late bloomer as far as going to concerts is concerned. My first was Bon Jovi in Punchestown in 2008, I was 25. Yes, go ahead tell me how sad that is.

David Cassidy - Empire Pool (now Wembley Arena) March 17th 1973.

I was 13 and at boarding school, we had to get permission from the headmistress to let us go. Unforgettable experience!

Pinks Party Tour at Mancheter Apollo. Bonfire night 2002. Apparently her first overseas show, or so she said.

Soon after, my first big outdoor gig was Simple Minds at Milton Keynes Bowl with an interesting support bill - didn't see the the Medics and barely remember the rest...although I do recall the Bangles, strange to see them alongside The Cult!

SIMPLE MINDS with The Bangles, The Cult, Lloyd Cole and The Commotions, Big Audio Dynamite, The Waterboys, In Tua Nua, Dr and The Medics, Sat 21st June
I was at this gig, but I don't recall B.A.D, Lloyd Cole or Dr and the Medics. I'm sure they supported them on the next night on the 22nd, but it's such a long time ago I could be wrong.

You're right about seeing The Cult And The Bangles on the same bill being a bit strange, but I enjoyed them both.
