hello! is my email @me.com password the same as my Apple ID one? I can't remember setting up any other and am trying to configure Outlook! Thank you please!

Any .mac, MobileMe or iCloud account is also an Apple ID.

If you have an email address that ends in @me.com, you have one of the above services and that address is your Apple ID.

If your Apple ID doesn't end in @me.com or @mac.com then you have two separate accounts and the passwords could be set the same or differently - we don't know!

If your Apple ID doesn't end in @me.com or @mac.com, then you'll need to create a new iCloud account if you want to use the iCloud Mail feature.

my apple ID account is set up with my hotmail address. the email on my iphone seemed to just be created automatically - hotmail is forwarded there successfully
