Sharon Osbourne has just lost every ounce of respect I ever had for her. I am absolutely fuming mad. Verity did herself proud tonight, she overcame her nerves and gave a great performance, far superior to 2 to go. Sharon's voting off of Verity was a pathetic attempt to get back at Simon for voting Roberta off last week. Just reinforcing her alliance with Louis. She wasn't honest, and it was just disgusting that she did what she did. I truely believed she was bigger than that. I'm appauled.

im glad im not the only one thinking the same then! although i liked 2 to go better than verity, i thought she did lot better than 2 to go.

This seems to pretty much the view by most tonight.

It has certainly changed the way the game is to be played - it is no longer a talent contest and now a gameshow - thats fine - at least we know how to cast our votes.

I thought 2 To Go were better than Verity actually. Verity did improve a lot and I was sad to see her go but I think 2 To Go are a better act.

Sharon has done herself no favours at all tonight. After her controversial comments regarding Steve's "soul", then getting rid of Verity after the praise she had heaped on the poor woman earlier she has hit rock bottom in my estimation. Doesn't she realise this will change how the public view her acts Tabby and Cassie?

I have to agree. I said in another thread re 'judges arguing...' that this would probably happen if any of Simon's got into the last two. What a farce this show is becoming. Not only are the acts competing, but the judges are too. I feel sorry for all the contestants as it will surely get worse as it draws to the final three. This will backfire for sure when the final say is the public's. Hopefully.

I don't think that Sharon did that to spite Simon at all - you could see from her face that she was torn....she didn't take any pleasure from sending Verity home, imo she picked the better act (2 To Go) to stay...I don't think it was personal..

My dad hates theese type of shows period!! Anyway he saw the last two acts and then was fuming the band 2 to go went through. I think it made him remember why he just did not watch this type of show.

From what I saw Sharon looked like she was close to tears I know it's hard for all the Verity lovers that she's gone, but I honestly believe that Sharon just picked who she liked best...

Agree 100%,and I'm certainly NO Auntie Vee fan(you don't say,PIV )but in my honest opinion AV sang better than two too smooch(yuk!)
AV did prove that she could conquer her nerves but,again,just IMO she should never have been anywhere close to the final 9.
Now this leaves us with just the one "pity" act...expect to see 2 too crap in the bottom 2 next week,eh. and as for VWS being first to safety? Wow!! Who saw that one coming? This show IS NOW officially a game show,shame on 2 faced Osbourne.

Simon trying to influence Sharon by saying "go on, give her another go" can't have done Verity any favours imo. Probably just made her more determined to spite him.

After the play off, where both acts sang again I felt sure that Sharon would choose Verity to stay... What a shocker! Then I thought "Oh no, this isn't revenge is it"?

I thought Simon's begging was quite cute ....I still don't think Sharon did this to spite Simon...she seemed upset to have to pick between them!

Both Verity and 2 to Go were appalling tonight......whichever Sharon chose would have been fine by me.

Dazza 1956 was on earlier in the week and said they didn't announce the names in any particular order - he's been spot on with inside info before. It's interesting to see that G4 are still one of the favourites with the bookies even though they were down to the last 3 tonight. VWS are still the least favourite.

I think Sharon made the right choice 2 to go were more consistent over the 2 weeks

Well I still think she's great. Just watched her interview on Parkinson, and she is so funny, didn't realise what an awful life she has had either. I love her to bits.

i am not a verity lover at all, she was simply better tonight than peters and lee, if verity had gone last week so be it, but she was far better this week, and shitty shaz was not near to tears, she knew exactly what she was doing, all that shit about knowing how verity felt, sharon must be as deaf as you have been blinded by your love for her or 2 to go

Didn't think any1 thought the order in which they were announced meant anything anyway.
Possibly only a bit of reverse psycology if the big acts are called out towards the end it will make people vote more

She really is a snide, devious lady. Her true colours have shown. She's trying to spite Simon using stupid, childish bitching and back stabbing

For example when G4 performed Simon criticised them for song choice, yet the first thing she said was "your song choice was fantastic", clearly trying to contradict Simon and sway Louis into supporting her.

Her also choosing Verity to go was a clear revenge call! You could tell she remembered Simon picked Roberta last week and was debating whether or not to send Verity off because of this, which is NOT fait. She should not be a judge on the show.

Its a shame too, because I did like her.
