I have a 500mb bolt on with my contract, and I was wondering what happens when you exceed that limit. Do you get charged per MB, or do they throttle your speed?

Their terms and conditions are a little vague about this, saying

If you exceed the Extra Data Bolt On monthly allowance or breach these terms, we reserve the right to:

impose network protection controls which may reduce your speed;
impose further charges
The letter they sent after the contract started stated that "we don't charge you extra if you have a data bolt on", but I wanted to check to see that I was not missing anything.

They basically just cap your speeds and then at 1Gb they cut you off completely for the rest of the bolt on.

Excellent. I usually use about 300-400mb, but I just wanted to check I was not going to get hammered in my next bill if I went a little bit over my limit.
