POP music is not about vocals, it's about energy and the whole package. It is lovely when an artist or group has tonnes of talent with it, but realisticly, it isn't a must have. 1D can hold a tune, end of. They are not overly accomplished, but they can sing and harmonise. Also, the public voted for them for weeks, months even, so if they're making a go at a career, so be it. I know they aren't r&b obviously. I'm simply making a comparison of talent at the same age. Pop used to be about vocals...




I've always thought they three were the best singers out of the 3 boybands...Tom just has the nicest tone to his voice!
