Between Andrew and Shelina now, I think. Tim isn't consistent enough.
GO SHELINA! Make lots of lovely Shelina things! |

I've really taken to Shelina as a person and she's barely put a foot wrong. She completed all the components for afternoon tea and her two pastry desserts looked exquisite.
I hope they aren't building her up for a fall though. I just sense we might be in for a shock and Tom will take this (a bit like when Peter won in series two). |

What was Tom thinking making that first desert
He needs to be more consistent if he wants to win. I think Shelina deserves the 1st place, she's on time and delivers good dishes. Andrew is very skillful, but is trying too hard, overcomplicating the things. BTW John and Gregg made it look like it's very difficult to do good deserts. Somebody said cooking is art and baking is science. There's no place for experimenting in baking, all must be exact, you do that and you get the results.

This is a one horse race; Andrew’s coming up from the rear and Tom a nose length behind him. But the bottom line is that Shelina could outcook them with her hands behind her back and a sack over her head. Good for her, just dull viewing.

Agree that it is shelina's to loose now. Although I will be glad if either of the three win, I have never been excited or enticed by shelina's, whether I have by toms or Andrews. But that is because I don't like eating Mauritius food (I don't like spices that much). But still she would be my choice for the winner as she has incredibly consistent and well praised all round. Besides it would be nice for another woman to win it.

![]() To me it looks like an exact repeat of last year - Andrew is the new Tim (Tim made a fair few mistakes with flavour combinations as well but he got it bang on in the final), Shelina is the new Sara (iirc she was the favourite to win going into the final and she had a good run of form), and..... Tom is the new Tom ![]() With all that, if Andrew does a great (ie near perfect if not flawless) job in the final - he's got it I think. But at the moment it's Shelina's to lose. |

For me Shelina is the winner consistant good timing, creative, looks nice on the plate and most of all tasty.
Tom although artistic and different makes a lot of mistakes and is inconsistant still needs more practice. Andrew Very clever ambitious looks fantastic but does it taste as good as it looks. |

I like Shelina and would like her or Andrew to win, and I like mangoes, but please Shelina don't put them in every dessert you make, it's getting boring!

Really sad to see Jay go even though it was the right decision, I really liked him
. I think Shelina's already won it but I'm actually rooting for Andrew, I just find him adorable and his food interests me the most. John and I had exactly the same reaction to Tom's deconstructed tart. Truly we are soulmates, although I have accepted I'll always come second to Gregg in his heart . I'm slightly dreading next week now because I don't want the series to end. I'm completely addicted and it's gone by so fast.

I still like Andrew as well, but I found him a little bit wet when talking to John & Gregg. Plus, he's been told numerous times not to over-complicate his dishes but he can't seem to resist.
