Yes!! I'm here for this. Just remember put an itunes preorder in!! Capital and Radio1 are ignoring her, so the fans have got to step up!
She's going to be competing with both of Nicki Minaj's singles, as Nicki is coming to the UK during Alex's release week, and will be promoting like crazy.

Depends if it makes a difference. Nicki is popular, but not as much as Alex. Nicki might be on daytime tv (not likely) or she might be doing gigs.

Maybe in 2010..but I disagree, Alexandra has been absent for awhile, whereas Nicki has been everywhere in the last year. She's gathered alot of momentum due her collaborations with David Guetta which have brought her a great amount of exposure. I think Starships will be a massive hit for her with alot of longevity.

It's yet to reach its peak. The song has been climbing all week on iTunes and currently sits at number 2. It's B-list on Radio 1's playlist and the video is yet to be released. I doubt she'll need much more promotion once the video is out there and the song climbs to the A-list.

I actually love this song, so I'd like it to go to No.1. If it does, at least I'll have a song to mention in the next "what's your favorite No.1 of the year" thread

It's not so much that Radio One is ignoring it - it's the fact that all major stations hasn't picked it up.
Alex's last singles did fine without the Radio One support, but then she was supported by every other station such as Capital etc.
