I am just stating that other popstars don't need to be slated to make Alex look great, as Alex's talent should be evidence enough.

Maybe not for you, but far more people like Cheryl than Alex, so for a festival line up like Radio One's, which also airs on tv, Cheryl is the better choice.

I was simply following on from your point that Cheryl was more likely to be selected over Alexandra for festivals because they are televised by showing that her singing ability would (and probably has done) do both parties far more harm than good...

I am being objective. I thought festivals were about entertainment. But looking at who else headlined, it's not a clear 'bigger star' decision. Meh. Pathetic if you will, but hype and media attention does wonders for some.

It can be. It depends what she's talking about. She has a very annoying squeaky accent though. I had to suffer two lectures with her today. She even has a Twitter page so maybe her talk is quite so cheap cheap there

Just shows how Alex can still be successful without Radio 1 while they continue to play JLS even though I like them Alexandra is a lot more creative although Elephant doesn't show it off that much she wanted a big 1st single and Elephant is just that.

delighted she is now no.2 on iTunes. especially as many DS posters said 5 was a high entry and she'd drop down by Wednesday. she's actually rising!
