Another 'what tv' question!
Moving into a new house which had one room as a tv room (acoustically sealed!), the viewing distance will be ~12 feet and am going to buy an Onkyo 309 receiver and pure acoustics surround sound speakers- can anyone recommend a suitable tv please? Also have panny blu ray player, will be using tv for films, games and tv.
Budget isn't extravagant, and looking at LCD. Thanks! |

At that budget and the fact you want LCD and 3D I would recommend - the LG 47LW450U - £650 from Amazon.

Thanks, that looks perfect! Unfortunately amzon won't ship it to here, and the model doesn't appear to exist in sweden! Are tv's named different models in diferent countries?? How can I find the equivalent?
edit, after some reading I'm not limiting myself to LCD. |

In which case I would recommend a Panasonic Viera TXP50ST30 which costs about £650 too.

I can highly recommend Samsung.
In my bedroom I have the Samsung LE55C650L 1K which is a 55 inch Full HD 1080p, 2D LED TV in black. It also has 4 HDMI sockets and 2 scart socket and a USB Socket as well as built in Freeview. On mine I did not think that the built in Freeview tuner was an HD one but it picks up all of the HD channels that broadcast on Freeview athought I rearly use it as I have Sky HD 1TB PVR. My dad who gave me that TV replaced it in our living room with a Samsung 55inch 1080p full HD, 3D LED TV in silver and the surround is very, very thin. My dads has 4 HDMI sockets, I think it has 2 scart sockets, and it has a USB sockets well as built in Freeview HD. |

Can anyone recommend any of the 47 or 50' 3d LGs? There seems to be a qc issue with some models but I love the idea of an Android phone controller and the 7 pairs of glasses that come with them?
