Does anyone know when this comes out here? I heard this week but I'm not really sure...

Release date is apparently next Monday (12th March).
I've already pre-ordered mine via phones4u and got a free Sony Smartwatch with it for being one of the first 250 to do so.

This phone looks a right stunner and could possible change Sony's fortunes in the mobile field 180 degrees.

Great looking phone best design ive seen inc the iphone. If it had came out last year the same time as the S2 we would have raved about it.But this year will be about quad core phones so would expect Sony to be realeasing one sooner rather than later to eclipse this.

Sony have said no quad cores until 2013 from them

I took a look at this in Phones4U on friday and it looks great.
However I really like the white but I am not going to pay over the odds to P4U just for a white phone. P4U want £28pm for a free phone but Tesco are doing it for £21pm on T-Mobile with extra data which would suit me.

I actually think Sony are positioning themselves as a mid-market player below Samsung and HTC. They are definitely not getting involved in the spec war. As much as I enjoy my SE Arc (and this was the phone that turned them round 180 degrees) I will be looking elsewhere.

well if they don't produce a quad core that would be the message they're sending out. It may be right that quad core not needed but that wont matter to those looking for the premium handsets and I do think it a mistake if Sony wish to remain a big player.

the only other option is to undercut with the price of their handset but that sends messages to people especially when Huwaii are making quad cores.

This appears to be out this week (14th). It's available in 'Three' stores just now and it's on the 'O2' website!

Waiting to see 'T-mobile's' contracts before I decide between them and '3'

I'm sorry for the double post, but is this available from T-mobile yet?
