I love my BB Bold, but the 9700 is quite an old model now and doesn't run the newest BB os. That being said, it is still a very capable phone, my mum has it and she loves it. Plenty of functionality, reasonable camera, great for messaging, very good battery life and call quality. A reasonable selection of apps.
Browsing wont be great on it, but if you're getting a playbook then that's no issue. Do you have any friends that use BBM? Do you use twitter or facebook? Probably need to know more about what you'll be using the phone for before a solid recommendation can be made. |

i know of 1 friend with a bbm but i think theres prolly more i have a fbook but dont use as such i have it tabbed on my laptop all the time and i do upload pics to it but appart from that not much
i hate treditional keybords so qwerty is a must weather touch based or phisical although i would prefure phisical like the sony and bb as you said dont care for browsing as iil be getting the pb and linking it to the phone i only have payg and get 100 meg a month/£10 topup i feel i would be wasting my money with a contract as only use 20-50 texts a month and have yet to find a contract that alows just say 500 meg internet 1000hrs calls but like 200 texts (hope you get the picture here) i would prolly download a few apps for facebook get bbm for the sake of it a few games and thats about all considering this would the orange be sutible p.s i rely dont want a phone that takes ages to register ive done something the samsung was barible if this helps thanks for the help and sorry for the bad grammer im dyslexic as f***

Why don't you read some reviews for them? The Orange Monte Carlo seems to get quite positive reviews and looks well specced for the price. The only criticisms are the battery life and how slowly it runs due to the bloatware it comes pre installed with combined with an older processor.
To be honest, any of them are likely to be a vast improvement on your old tocco lite. |
