They seriously need to stop trying to make Chemmy happen.

I agree totally with this, Chemmy's routine was choppy and not particularly difficult. Jen's wasn't difficult either but much smoother and artistic.

What's with all the hating on Chemmy tonight on this site? The girl's done GOOD! I love her, and I think Chico's brilliant as well, why does it have to be about someone being overmarked and another being undermarked?”

She doesn't look good on the ice - big, clunky and awkward.

I think the judges just like her as a person and vote accordingly.

TBH I found all the routines a bit meh tonight apart from Jen & Dan and Matthew & Nina. Chico's routine saw a return to cheesy Chico plus the music was awful & he wasn't perfect, I think he's missed some training this week due to illness and it did show. For Chemmy that was probably the best technically & she has improved on stuff like her exits from lifts etc. so judges did really have to up her marks a bit. Her music was also a bit dull though & I don't think it was a crowd pleasing routine (I like her but I've enjoyed other performances of hers more even if she wasn't technically as good).

Just looking at poll here, Chico's performance is currently the second favourite and yet he is in the bottom two now.

The doubling of the scores for the team challenge really made the whole thing unfair. They should have been marked separately for their team performances.

Chico could be out tonight if Andy gets the Coronation Street vote, and Chico finds himself up against Matt in the dance off.

The team challenge skews everything. Daft idea.”

Totally agree, Chico was way better than Chemmy and so was Jennifer tonight. I am fed up with both Robin and Katerina constantly overmarking Chemmy every week. She looks so clumsy at times, especially in the lifts. Jennifer should have had higher marks than her this week as well as Chico!

The right two people were in the skate off this week, both Chemmy and the Corrie celeb!

at all the people on here who seem to think they know more than Robin & Katarina.

Think it was clear the judges wanted Chemmy to stay and Andy to go and the scores/team challenge reflected this. Boys were far better in team challange imo. Judges sometimes have an agenda, lets face it these shows are always a bit fixed.

Chemmy has been consistently better than Andy so it was a no brainer for the judges in the skate off (which she should never have been in in the first place).

She is the best technical skater in the competition, and she is working very hard on her lack of finesse, and she was (IMHO) the best in the girls team skate considering she was the non dancer. If the judges want to keep their credibility - that was the only decision they could have made - and Chemmy wiped the floor with Andy in the skate off - which he lost as he was so defeatist as soon as he knew he was in it!

Of course the judges preferred Andy going as he was clearly the weakest left. The only agenda the judges have is wanting the best skaters to provide a better show. I thought the team challenge was pretty close so woud have been fine with whoever won

I'd rather watch Andy than chemmy, she should have gone weeks ago.

Really?? No accounting for some people's tastes LOL. Of course if people prefer watching certain contestants over others that's exactly what the public vote is for. It's those who fail to understand that the judges job is different. Just listen to Robin's comments & it makes perfect sense why he scored Chemmy as he did & the judges were always going to save her over Andy simply because she is much better & even the most one eyed of Andy's fans would surely have to admit that.

We know what we enjoy watching. Technically perfect doesn't necessarily mean pleasant to watch.

That's not my argument though - it's the Robin & Katarina are biased or don't know what they're talking about brigade that are getting on my wick. Public can vote for who they want but the judges are always going to save the better skaters in the skate-off - that's what it's designed for.

I think it is nothing to do with the skating, for some reason they are desperate to keep her in, even tho the public are not voting for her in big numbers.

Watching the skate off, I wanted to notice how much time she spent skating on her own and it was seconds on a couple of parts and her partner was right beside her, Chico skates on his own and lifts his partner.

She has been saved in the skate offs because she has been better, simple as there's nothing personal in it. Saving her over Rosemary, Heidi & Andy was a no brainer - Seb certainly had the potential to beat her but sadly he forgot his routine so after that saving her over him was also a no brainer.

Chemmy is certainly the queen of the skate off. She has survived 3 times in four weeks. You have to admire her competitive edge.

She just doesn't have the grace on ice to win this competition when up against the celebrities with ballet training. Plus she does not get the audience vote. I thought the marking was pretty fair in Week 9.

See Dancing On Ice Judges Scores for full details of all the scoring.

Can't believe that I need to get involved with this but I thought Chemmy's score a little odd yesterday and have just watched it again as my youngest wanted to see the show.

I thought her's a very clunky performance as it was a series of technicals not put together very well, whilst Jorgie's performance was fantastic yet she only scored just above Chemmy.

I thought it strange so did a search and this thread came up.

There I have said it, you may carry on
