What's with all the reunions?

Over the past twelve months we've seen:
Steps, S Club 3, Atomic Kitten, Aqua, Vengaboys, Big Brovazs among other groups from the 90's/00's reform?

Why do you think this is?
Who else do you think will reform?

if the current scene was providing what the fans want, older acts wouldnt get a look in.

but theres money to be made.... so why not?

alot of them will fail, i blame 'take that' who staged the most spectacular comeback ever.

The thing about these reunions is that they are not really groups people really want to come back, apart from Steps but even I think it will be the last of them after the tour.

I think it shows the current gap, and the opportunity they think they have.

There has always been money to be made in nostalgia and they are simply exploiting that, as many have done before.

They toured Australia a few weeks back. Plus released a best-of.

I guess that an artist or band sees someone else do it, they get in while they can whilst the frenzy is still in hype.
