I really don't see how not walking the red carpet is a publicity stunt? Personally I find it distasteful to talk about how you feel about somebody who's just died publicly. I think there are things that are personal and should be kept that way. The public and fans are not entitled to know this stuff...
And also she's preparing for the tour I expect seeing as it starts soon, and she's just launched the Born This Way Foundation at Harvard Uni with Oprah and Deepak Chopra (a personal hero of mine )
To be honest it seems Gaga can't win whatever she does - and I am not saying that everybody should like her, but there are those who kept saying 'Shes over-exposed, needs to take a break' and now she's doing that, there are those who say 'She's past it bla bla, where is she etc' it hasn't been that long since her last performances and single release!
