Perhaps it's just me, but I do get the impression from both the 'judges' and himself that he has won the contest already! Being confident is one thing, but there is that fine line which becomes arrogance. He should remember that it's not the 'Tabby' show. Yes, we know that he keeps reminding us of where he comes from and therefore 'block' voting etc.. but 'too much' could become 'too little' for him by the final weeks. There are other acts just waiting to win, also!

I adore Tabby, but I share some of your concern. This is very like the situation with Sam Nixon in PI2 last year. Sam didn't win and yet there was so much hype from every angle (judges included). I worry that Tabby, and Cassie for that matter are too much too soon.

It could be a worry, 'though Rowetta was enjoying much the same sort of adoration last week, some were pretty sure of her winning after the first live show. Maybe it's just a case of it being Tabby's week to shine.

Hmm this is just what I think but the past 2 weeks, Tabby has had a guitar to help him, whereas Cassie has just sung on her own. I sense favouritism (sp?) with Sharon here, bearing in mind Cassie is the talented of the 2

He had a guitar to hold, to help him is a bit strong considering he did nothing with it.

I don't think it was too much too soon for Tabby, it was a great performance, but I think he needed it! One of my faves last night...I'm pleased that people are warming to him!

I may be wrong here but at this stage of Pop Idol1,wasn't it pretty much taken for granted that Gareth was going to win?.........he didn't!

.....can someone please tell me if Tabby actually plays that blessed guitar that keeps appearing because I could swear you could hear it before he even took it off that child last night. Is it just a prop to give him a bit more confidence

Loved the bit when the boy gave Tabby the guitar and he said - "Thanks little man." The kiss he gave to the little girl at the end nearly topped it for cringe inducing viewing. Still liked the singing though. Much better than last week.

Tabby fans can take it, we've had to from day one, we don't mind.
