Sumsung VP-D101 Camcorder - Opinions?

Have been looking at the above camcorder, which is £280 in Argos, and looking for some opinions on it (there doesn't seem to be much on the web). It looks quite good on paper for the money, but if anyone has one or has used one I'd be greatful for their opinion. Also, can Mini DV tapes be re-used? And if so do they degrade in quality?
