How many pre-orders were there from iTunes back in Feb?

Now consider that if a million hardcore fans throughout the world have pre-ordered MDNA since, AND take into account that most fans who have pre-ordered MDNA as a physical release have BOTH on order (I know you have and I know I have and I bet a good many more have to), you can assume that the first week sales globally will be nearly or just over 2 million copies! I think that's a lot of the reason why so many versions are being released and why there are 2 covers!

As the months go on and MDNA continues its trail of critical acclaim, you could probably muster up another couple of million. Not bad for an album with no promotion. I also have a feeling that there will be a new Madonna album in 2014 which is possibly why she wants the tour over with by Summer 2013 so she can start working on the album for 2014 and then she can have a year off!

With regards to single releases, I read that "Superstar" is likely to be the third single from MDNA for release in the summer.

I see what you mean there! Yeah itunes had approximations of 2 million pre-sales downloads. So yeah it will all match and add up.

I do sometimes forget to put it all into perspective really.

ALso i forget that i bought the albums going back through her catalogue and only picked up on the promotional performances she did for each album in recent years tbh. So it always has been the music first and foremost tbh.

But yeah I cannot wait to see what else happens though. But i do still hope they put a couple more singles out with videos and really ensure enough is out there for fans everywhere...i mean they have frequently said there will be surprises and to expect the unexpected....but then again "no promo tour" is pretty surprising!

I didn't initially think I much cared for Girls Gone Wild... but it's been stuck in my 'head jukebox' all day today!

i liked the snippet too. its really a harder club sound. so the album is shaping up to be quite diverse judging by the 5 songs that have been previewed so far.

yeah it is loving the reviews thus far teasing it all in...just cannot wait to blast the shit out of it on the speakers and give it all a real listen and get a feel for the album.

May take me a fortnight to grasp it...I always do with Madonna anyway. And then it will give me more indication of how I personally rank it etc.
