This months (Nov) What Hi-Fi gives the Sony RDR-HX900 top marks.
Close behind is the Panny DMR-E95H. If you want something cheaper I see Richer Sounds now do the Panny DMR-E85 for £400 - less for region 2 models. StereRowe |

Is that a good price? Did what hifi give it a rateing like ?/10 ? Their praise, 'Breathtaking ability', '...best recorder on the market right now'. Their only gripe was the remote 'Isn't that sexy'! That price seems good - the quoted price is £700. It might be worth 'Googling' for a better price - you never know. StereRowe |

Personally I have a Toshiba RDXS32 and am very pleased with it. Lots of vigorous discussion of all the leading models at http://www.avforums.com/
look under the DVD recorders and Media forum http://www.avforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=113 |
