Hi I have a Sony Bravia 37Ex403 and when I connect my seagate external hard it's wont work just nothing happens. This hard drive does work on my pc and also works with my Samsung tv. Does anyone know why this is wont work.

Thanks in advance. Daz

If you're wanting to record, you have use the special recording USB socket on the TV, which will then format the drive to work with the TV - all recordings are encrypted, and will only playback on that exact TV.

TV features here: http://www.sony.co.uk/product/tv-94-...x403#/Overview

The specs state
"USB Media Player – plug in a USB device and enjoy movies, photos and music on your TV using USB playback"

However;
"DLNA – stream movies, music and photos to your BRAVIA from compatible devices, such as a laptop, mobile phone or music player, no matter where in the home they are located"

Which is what I do - simply stream from the PC using a server (e.g. Serviio) to the TV through your home network
