Oops, I think I put the wrong face with my Jaleel comment, I should have put the smiley face. I thought it was funny and was not offended.

I think Katherine has a solid chance at winning this comp but I believe it will come down to her freestyle and what Mark choreos. She is capable of pulling anything off but what he plans to do will have a lot of impact in the final vote.

Unless I am totally off with the numbers, fan bases seem to be running close at this point. I am not sure about William though, does he have huge numbers or not, not sure.

If Donald and Maria (off chance of William) are also in the final again I think it will come down to the freestyle. I think it would be interesting to see Mark vs. Derek because they produce the crowd pleasers. Peta is untested yet.

Of course now that I said watch Melissa make into the finals on popularity and Maks' determination. I notice that DWTS is back up in the ratings and not knowing who will win and dare I say the dance duel brought the fans back.

Hi all,

I've been lurking on this thread for ages. Have been reading Windyciti's hilarious posts about his deep and abiding love and passion for KJ and cracking up. So I sent him a message on twitter and he asked me to send his best wishes to you all and especially to thank Karma Ardent for linking to his blog.

Okay, going back to lurking now...
Yay, thanks for doing that I loove reading his blog and obsession with Katherine. He is hilarious

Unfortunately I am not sure if Katherine can win this competition
I agree with Lili.A lot of it has to do with those remaining weeks. Mark has to come up with ingenious choreo and she has to completely engage with the audience and WOW us again like she did in earlier weeks. Mark has to do an Amazing freestyle. If he rises up to that challenge then Katherine has a good shot.
If she doesnt win, I would like Donald to at least win it;I find him a better dancer and more likeable than William.

Mark Ballas and GF.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...irlfriend.html

Off-topic but I dont know why people love Hollywood's life so much and everything that comes with it.
It such a fast-paced life where you have to be at the top of your game everytime and if you fail just once you are immediately forgotten (unless you are not very famous)and replaced by someone else(nevermind if that person is talented or not).

Rehearse every day of the week for 6/8 hours. Then comes Monday: the show, tuesday :result show and after-party(like the pic above suggest). That whole routine seems a bit :yawn: to me anyway.

I guess some of them (pros) do it because they love to entertain and the exposure that it gives them. Or maybe some of them just love the limelight

Ok nevermind with my rambling just a thought lol

Poor Katherine she always seems to be by herself in those kind of events.
Lol at Tom Bergeron jab at the paparazzi, now that was mean .
Good to see that Chelsie and Louis V.(former contestant) are still friends

Hi Caramel

I haven't posted much because I have only been watching Katherine's dances. I never used to like her but I saw her on Popstar to Operastar and really warmed to her and now I really like her. I kind of wish she was with an Artem or a Pasha (although I want them to stay on SCD and not defect to DWTS) because I am not totally convinced by Mark's choreography. I haven't watched any of the others. I am intrigued to see how it plays out although I don't think, as a Brit, she will have the fanbase to win. Hope she stays for a bit longer so we get more Windy lust and hilariousness!

I know what you mean. I would loathe being famous. Being constantly pestered and having the papers there to take a picture of any slight flaw/imperfection and write some bitchy, gleeful article about it. If I had to look immaculately groomed all the time then quite frankly I would never leave the house. I'm off to do my democratic duty and vote in the local elections and don't intend to wear any make up although I might brush my hair. Anonymity is wonderful!

I just watched the latest DWS episode, and I just have 2 questions in my mind. Do the people who chose the music to the contestants actually hate Ktherine, because that song for her rumba was absolutely horrible and there was no way to build a good rumba around that music.

Secondly, why did Derek/Maria receive 3 tens? He is a great choreographer, but Maria's dance was in no way worth of 3 tens.

The music choices this season have been atrocious and have ruined a lot of dances.

Maria is so overrated and I would like to see her the next celeb to be voted off. Maria has not danced on her own in any of her performances and has been in hold for all her latin dances and the judges have not called her out on this. I think she is not getting the votes and the judges are over marking her to keep Derek in the show.

They certainly seem to favour Derek. Maria is painfully mediocre and she has very little natural rhythm. I know it's just a TV programme, but the bias shown by the judges really annoys me!

My thoughts too, I know Melissa isn't great but at least she has danced on her own and tackled more difficult routines.Double elimination this week should see them both out..although I don't think it will more likely that Roshon will be one of the two

I really enjoyed Classical week.

I loved the young girl singing Ava Maria and the version of O Fortuna.

I hated totally some of the costumes this week (after really liking most of them over the weeks). Malissa - words failed me on this outfit Maks must have been feeling really iffy to select it. A strange dance, I didn't like a number of the unflattering lifts.

I liked Maria and Derek but they were overmarked - I thought it was strange that this happened but maybe that's what the dance duel has all been about - to protect her and Derek?

I was worried Roshan would drop Chelsie because there were some leg wobbles in there. I feel he has done well to get as far as he has because he lacks strength.

I like Peta, I went off Donald a bit when he kicked off about not getting all 10's for one of their dances. I know this shouldn't matter but it did for me.

I hate this obsession about getting 10's all the time - they've been handed out like confetti.

I like Katherine and Mark - she has beautiful hands and lines and she reminds me of Kara Tointon.

Tristan not good enough for SCD - wow on that, this man is an amazing dancer and I love him. I prefer a a lot of the choreography on DWTS to SCD. I think that Artem is the leader in interesting and innovative choreo in SCD and Derek is in DWTS. Just my opinion.

I am really loving this series and it's interesting that Louis dances most weeks in the pro dance (maybe the programme did let him down and offered him this as an alternative).

I missed Tristan this week - I want more of him.

I couldn't agree more about the 10 thing. I find asking for/expecting 10s really off-putting. You have to wonder if they truly believe they've achieved perfection (in the context of the show, anyway ) or if it's just something they expect as a reward for sticking around long enough .

The scoring generally is a bit of a mystery (even more than on SCD). The judges rarely give anything lower than 7, even when the dancing is really poor. With so little differentiation, it's a bit pointless having the judges award points at all, really. Perhaps they should just offer comments!

I think we could all do with a bit more Tristan

Here here, might be a cultural thing if anyone said that on SCD probably get voted off the first week. My thoughts exactly, do they believe their performance was worthy of a 10 when at best it should be 8 or 9, if they are lucky, it seems to be expected rather than deserved?

Don't know about a bit more Tris I'd rather have a lot more Tris still mustn't be greedy

The twist is dancing wth another pro Karma.
Dont know if I like this idea; its hard enough dancing with your pro and then you add another pro on the mix
So we will have threesomes next week for the latin round

I know that Maks choose Val for their Latin round
It seems like Cheryl chose Kym
Apparently Tristan was Maria's second choice for a pro so it seems like they will choose him.
Dont know who Roshon&C picked
People are speculating that Mark will choose Sasha(for the dance troup) or Tristan
As you can see this thing is a bit confusing to say the least
