If feels that way to me even if it is the publicity machine. It feels disrespectful to your real life partner be hanging all over your dance partner when not actually dancing. This is why I wondered if something was going on between them. If Maria were married to Keven I actually think this would be negative publicity for her.

I agree . thats very disrespectful and it says a lot about what kind of person she is.
Okay I know that Derek had his share of beautiful and attractive partners in the past but whenever some of these women were in a relationship(boyfriend, married) we as the audience knew it even they had incredible chemistry on the dancefloor
-I remember Brooke's husband in the audience,
-Jennifer Garth Peter Husband in the audience,
-even Nicole S. EX Boyfriend in the audience.....
I know that trying to create a showmance in this show makes a good TV but what she is doing imho its in very bad taste, well maybe they have an open relationship.
Im hoping they get eliminated tomorrow well might not happen but one can always hope.

I am going to put a positive spin on things and say that Carrie Ann's comment re Katherine will encourage people to vote.

The Welsh presenter Steve interviewed Katherine on ET tonight so it should be on line shortly.

Was the problem just with the lift? Other celebs have been much worse and haven't been penalised. Carrie Ann can be a right bitch sometimes.

I agree and I thought that 8 was a bit harsh especially since Katherine worked so hard in rehearsal to perfect it to the point of getting injured.

Wow great night tonight, I totally enjoyed myself and there were quite a few surprises.
1-Donald&Peta tango I think that it was ok.His technique really improved but I saw that when he was doing the turns he was flat-footed, arent you supposed to be on your toes when you do that.
2-2nd dance. OMG He killed IT:top performance of the trios and great technique/performance this dance was just so amazing and Im not even a fan. I definetely think that he was robbed in this dance and deserved a couples of 10s if not a perfect score.But people are angry and they are really voting for him.
2-Maria and Derek Omg I was cringy during the vts and after the interviews;they are really pushing the romance angle arent they?
Derek shame on you for stooping to that level!
However they danced a nice foxtrot and I actually agree with Len . It was a very beautiful performance however not enough content definetely not worth 2 10s.
-Their second dance a bollywood inspired samba. Derek I really appreciate his efforts to be creative but this fell short for me because I couldnt see voltas, botofogos...and bounce action!
I really hope they leave tomorrow!
3-Roshon&Chelsie YAY he is actually 2nd on the leaderboard but will that be enough? They even brought his 2 grand-mas in rehearsals Aww they were so cute cheering in the audience.
I love his first dance and the paso with Sasha although I dont understand why they dont give them an appropriate music for their dances.
4-Katherine &MarkMy fav. couple is not going to win this competition.Her dress was just matronly on her and AWFUL.Mark what were you thinking?
I actually think that their VW was beautiful.Its a hard dance to make look interesting so I cant understand why Mark threw that move in the routine.
I actually think that she had loads of chemistry with Tristan in rehearsal(sorry Mark) and she seems so happy with that trio.
Her chacha was great especially the beginning but shame about the wardrobe malfunction but she carried it on like a champ! And she was crying after their scores, gd to see that vulnerable side of her.
5-Melissa &MaksI loved her trio dance the most and I dont know what happened between the judges (Len, a pro while K&M were receiving their scores but they cut it )
6-WilliamOK . I hate the blatant favoritism in the show.I know he somehow boosts the ratings but why is he ALWAYS LAST?
I loved his 1st dance and I can actually see that he worked on his technique and his paso was gd(good choreo).
Overall very entertaining night.Hopefully Maria and melissa leave.
The trio is probably the best thing that TPTB have introduced in the show.
The top scorer is William with 57 and Melissa at the bottom with 51. It is so close and I dont know who will leave tomorrow however I think that William and Donald will be safe.

Back later for comments on the dances (betcha can't wait! ), but just wanted to say, when I saw the earlier comments about Katherine, I thought something truly awful had happened! She coped like a pro. CAI's comment on the VW? Pah! Tris was lovely as always and the Chmerkovskiy sandwich looked yummy . (Karina and Peta together were pretty hot too )...


...oh, and Maria's samba? What samba??!!!

I fear for Katherine this week. Could be her and Roshon. Personally would like to see William go and I'm not sure about the other. It probably should be Melissa, but I'm getting annoyed by Maria so I wouldn't mind if she left. (It's not so much her that irritates - I quite like her - but the fact she's not being called out on the dancing and Derek is 'getting away with it'). Same with William.

VW- Omg her dress is almost exactly the same as my daughters ballroom dress for her performances.Loved the wrist spin just a small mistake there,thought it was very nice indeed.

Cha Cha Cha- You know I said I wasn't sold on her latin? scratch that I loved this!Lucky Katherine..oh no with the trousers but she handled it very well. Sorry to Mark fans but why oh why couldn't K have got Tristan as her pro.Excellent

Melissa-

Foxtrot-Dunno what I was expecting from this video package (I watched one that had the intro bit on because I was curious)but reading the ABC boards and some US reviews I expected him to be beating her up.He cussed a bit and shouted ok same old stuff then,needs to control his frustrations better but pretty sure most of the pros are like this.Hated Melissas outfit. Ok Maks as a schollboy nerd..seriously hot. A few miss steps at the start,still quite stiff but she seemed more relaxed in her face. Judges nicer in comments perhaps finally cottoned on. I like Melissa shes honest.

Samba-Oh Mama..sorry just melted..was Melissa dancing..didn't notice too busy drooling mmmmmmmm


Donald-

Tango-do see the comment about flat footed in turns yes, good aggression though,posture still quite poor..hated Petas dress again

Jive-Very good.Had trouble taking my eyes off Karina though that woman can surely jive and woo talk about hot. C'mon Donald you can get to the finals and win this


Maria-

VW- "Where Maria struggles is..."with the dancing by any chance Derek?.Nice to see Derek being portrayedas much of a jerk as Maks for a change.yay parity!Yeuuuuch kissy kissy stop it D.Lots of standing still really and quite a bit of arm work, still quite pretty though.

Samba- WTF?wheres the samba?Operation protect Maria from actually dancing continues. Next week if she survives they will reinact a few wrestling moves


William-

Foxtrot-Didn't like Cheryls dress.Rather a nice dance,certainly one of his best,moved well,looked good

Paso- Loved the idea of the duelling paso.His shoulders still bug me though.Out of time with Tony at points. Don't think he deserved to be top of the leaderboard.

Roshon-

Foxtrot-Faffing about on a bench as Len would put it when he's sane(?).To me he probably has the best stance of the male celebs.Quite sweet

Paso- seemed to help Roshon a lot having Sasha there.Still looks like a little boy playing dress up though. Rubbish song choice for a paso. Good side by side work.

Dances of the night for me, Katherines Cha Cha and Melissas(ok Maks and Vals) samba.

Thought the trio dances were the best tinkering the show has managed loved them.

Maria ,Roshon or Melissa should go tonight (although I did really like Melissas dances this week so I'd prefer the other two) Hope Katherine is safe as I really enjoyed her this week.

Yeah me too. I was imagining something truly dreadful like Chelsee's nightmare tango with Pasha. She dealt brilliantly with it although I have to confess that most of my attention was on the lovely Tristan.

Have to say I have no idea why Mark added that ugly lift. The VW was lovely without it. It looked like she could have broken her wrist if it had gone even worse!
